Leeds need to bring in a midfielder who can score goals and a decent number 9 in Jan 2027.

You don't get it Pjm.
I shall explain.
Goalkeeper
Right-back
Right sided-back
Middle centre-back
Left sided-back
Left back
Defensive midfielder
Central midfielder
Attacking midfielder
Right winger
Left winger
Striker
Three centre-backs & three midfielders to accomodate a preferred system.

Kelly was passed ir by 2006.
I remember how poor he was at Tranmere in the cup.
Got beat in the 3-2 in the 120th minute.
Long journey home that night, had loads of those trips though.
Eric Cantona's final appearance for Leeds at Watford was also totally underwhelming.

Re: Positional winners over the last twenty years from our polls
I wouldn’t have Klich, Dallas Kelly or Beckford in mine.
Stach Phillips Ayling and DCL instead.
Loved Dallas he would be an essential squad member - but a multi-tool rather than a nailed on starter, but if he had been an option for RB I would have picked him over Ayling.
My 11 would be playing the same 532 system.
Trafford
Dallas, Rodon, Bijol Tarik Guds
Amps Hernandez Stach
Raph and DCL
Lot of goals in that team for me.
Bench - Phillips, struijk, Mes, Tanaka, Summerville, Beckford, Justin, and Klich / Taylor
Not including loan players as they were not ours.

Looks like we were better under Bielsa and to be fair, Ayling should be in.. making it 7 Bielsa Babes.

Dallas, Klich, Raphinha, Hernandez, Summerville.
Defensively not.
We were shocking in that department.

Re: Positional winners over the last twenty years from our polls
Only mho but anyone who considers phillips as one of our best has never been to a live game in that 20 yr period, a dreadful footballer who one man made half decent through his crazy system after dropping him back from a midfield role, otherwise he would have been in league 1, 4 seasons ago, and he aint far from there now.
