And for those who keep insisting we need a new striker........

Joel Piroe is the second leading scorer in the Championship with thirteen goals and his combined total of 18 goals and assists is first. His goals per 90 minutes of 0.64 is third.

Will we need a new striker in the Premier League (assuming we get there)? Probably, just as probably we'll need new people at a number of positions. But right now he's more than good enough to get us there.

Again, kudos to Farke and the front office for putting together a team that is the class of the league while also leaving us in a financial position where we'll be able to splash the cash this summer if we do go up.

Well the season was suspended in April/May, so we didn't play until June/July. :P Having no crowds definitely helped too. I think the games v Luton and Barnsley, the crowd would be been very edgy. Last season we lost 4 games in April/May, having been unbeaten for 3 months. So it definitely does make a difference.

Yes but apparently (according to some) we need a proven striker. So a proven striker who is unproven at Leeds Utd to replace a proven striker currently at Leeds Utd. Without this they say we wont be promoted.

I read previously on the forums that people seemed to think that Meslier is a top class keeper when he doesn't have to think and can just react. After last night this definitely looks to be the case.

I think that one possible cause for the misses last night was tiredness from some of the players, apart from Ramazani, as he should have done better, though he had only been on the field for a short time, so can be excused.

We might just have done that.
