Rasmus on the bench again.
Is he not fit enough to play two in a row?

I fear that and think we're fcked if they do.DDB220 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 6:19 pm Moyes has a good record against us at home. I suspect they will let us have the ball and look to get us the counter when one or the other full backs push up and play into the space. We need to score first and then not give a goal away. Going in at half time with a lead will be ideal for us to go on and win the game. All very easy on paper.

To my mind this is perfect, Aaronson, Adams and Roca could sit in more in a defensive sense (maybe Aaronson being the more forward of the three) which should leave us less exposed.
Even if it doesn’t work tonight, I’d stick with it for the upcoming games

Like to see Gnonto and Summerville in the same team.
Need far more from Aaronson and Rodrigo than last few matches.
Doesn't say much for our recruitment with Kristensen losing his place to old father time.

Enough on the bench to offer some change if necessary

Re: Leeds Utd v West Ham Utd Match Thread
I would like to see it morph into a 4-3-3 with Adams lying deep and Aaronson and Roca playing ahead of him on the right and left respectively. Much like the USA midfield functions actually. Then when one or both of our fullbacks goes forward to support the attack Adams would drop into the center of a back three. Kalvin played this role often. And I think Adams can as well.

I like that line up as a 4-3-3. The idea of the formation is that the wider midfield covers the exposed full backs.
It's 3 attacking players up front. Aaronson probably better as the wide right of a midfield 3 than the the 10 or AMR that he has been playing.

If they do do this, i've got visions of all our players looking at each other with the expression.....' now what?' ....DDB220 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 6:19 pm Moyes has a good record against us at home. Right fair enough Velo, i'm gonna judge this guy from a Hammers fan perspective and see what the Hammers get and don't get.

Re: Leeds Utd v West Ham Utd Match Thread
That's the formation I like too and what I heard JM was working on during the break. It's more practical because the 2 wide midfielders protect our constantly exposed full backs. Seems ideal for Aaronson who has great energy defensively and can initiate the fast break. It's potentially 7 defenders. But it does offer our front three more attacking license and the ability to press further forward.BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 7:01 pm I would like to see it morph into a 4-3-3 with Adams lying deep and Aaronson and Roca playing ahead of him on the right and left respectively.
