Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds Utd Match Thread - McKennie & Gnonto in for Adams & Summerville

Post by Cjay »

Think I was watching a Peacock stream.

Do they have people linked to the home side co-commentating usually?

Only explanation I can think of.

It's even been mentioned on none Leeds reddit how bad he was.

You'd have thought his families lives depended on Wolves winning

Minute tug and it will be overturned
Exactly. A minute tug. It was soft. It didn't impede the play at all. Traore could have easily turned and got the ball. Nice call by the ref to recognize that.

Rodrigo was red hot before he got injured. Now he's really off his groove.
Decent game from Paddy today, good movement, 2/3 lovely touch passes.

Ridiculous by Traore. He should have turned around and got the ball. But chose to stand still and throw his arms in the air. I'd be fuming if our player did that. Wolves manager should be fuming at Traore rather than the ref.

Hindsight - he made a decision without the benefit of watching it in an armchair. His clearance was good. He did nothing wrong.

Great win and very much needed. We fought and fought and showed tremendous determination and resilience, but whilst I’m delighted with the win, it can’t paper over the cracks - we are not a good team, and if we manage to stay up, serious changes need to be applied for next season.

Oh well, We’ll just have to enjoy the result for now and be grateful for a sensible and fair (for once) VAR and ref (apart from the 12 minutes injury time) and relax a bit until Arsenal away next up.

Agreed, very under rated here atm... one poor game since return really.

Spot on.
He was in control of the ball after the shirt pull but threw his arms in the air and Summerville nicked it from him.

If Adams is long term I hope Dallas is close to recovery.
I hope Forshaw is close as well ImageImage

Looked a real mentalist for most of the match. Nice that we have the calmness of Gracia.

I'm exhausted. Boy do we make things hard for ourselves.
Summerville excellent when he came on.
The table will look a bit better this evening. Hopefully Chelsea can do Everton.
Maybe made it hard for ourselves. But a win away is against the odds.

Fair play to the ref for not changing his mind with the Traore ‘non-foul’, so many times refs bow to VAR, nice to see a ref stick up for himself for once.

We're not playing well as a team a lot of the time, that might be down to a more defensive, sit back set up after complete chaos. That affects confidence. But we have the players imo... Javi has barely got started
