As to the players, they are a disgrace, a little human kindness goes a long way. Looks like Ayling and Harrison did their bit but the rest were appalling.

And Forshaw, I'm sure Stuart Dallas would have reacted kindly too.

I always remember having a good chat with Coops, Dallas & Berardi at Woodall Services on our way south to an away game, decent blokes.

We go to the crucible every year for the snooker, and not once have we been and not bumped into a player or former player who has treated us both with maximum respect. This year it was Steve Davis and Shaun Murphy, lovely lads who took 2 minutes to give us a really nice memory.

I remember going to a golf match, Seve Ballesteros was my golfing idol, he was signing autographs left right and centre between shots and I kept trying and trying to catch his eye. I managed it eventually and he was so lovely, he had a big smile and signed the scrappy bit of paper i had found lol Never forgotten it. He wasn't walking from hole to hole with big earphones on and ignoring everyone who had come to see him.

I’m sure the list could go on with others on here, I’m not sure players, sports stars, film stars etc realise the difference they can make.

On our way back from our honeymoon in Jamaica, we met Lennox Lewis at the airport. Had a 5 minute chat with him, had a photo and shook his hand. He will have forgotten it two minutes later, but we will never forget it.

I can understand the cynicism everyone feels about the message from the players. As fans this all just feels like another lurch from one crisis to crisis, from Ridsdale to GFH to Bates to the King of Corn, now this.

However, I do feel there are two sides to every coin. These guys are human beings too. They must be feeling pretty shitty about life right now. I realize they're overpaid (especially for what they're delivering), and can go on to other challenges next season, while Leeds has to drag itself out of another cesspit.
But conversations in the dressing room and on the training ground must be a bit like eating razor blades. Remember some of them are still teenagers or not far from being teenagers. Money or not, life's a bitch for everyone at the club right now.

Frankly, the only ones I am short on sympathy for, are the f***heads running the club so badly, but still pocketing large salaries, dividends, etc. In any of the companies I worked for during my career, the entire boardroom would have been out on their ears long, long ago. There's no accountability up there. That's why we (players included) are in this mess.

I'm obviously getting soft in my old age.

It's about time the players are angry, embarrassed, and surly after a loss. The fans will be fine. These guys need to find some answers and the answer isn't signing more autographs, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not a massive snooker fan but will always watch Shaun Murphy. He is such a lovely chap. I remember him once saying that he always liked to do at least one good turn for someone every day and he speaks so knowledgeably about snooker. Smashing bloke.
Just remembered, I watched him win the tournament before this world championship. A lot of people had left but Shaun hung about with the trophy chatting to people who had wondered down to the front to congratulate him, having selfies etc

I totally agree. A bit of emotion shows there is still an inkling of fight somewhere. No it wasn't right to ignore fans, but like I said above, they're humans - I'm kinda glad they're pissed off.

Ayling, Forshaw and Harrison all senior players who’ve been at the club for a while unlike most of the others.
Fair play to Javi too, none of them would have wanted the walk of shame but it goes with the territory, some of the others just don’t get it.

Steve Davis is a lovely bloke.

I had the pleasure of serving Steve whilst managing one of the departments in the HMV Manchester store back in the 80's, he bought a Randy Crawford album, loved soul & progressive rock music, had a lovely chat with him about music & snooker of course.

I agree with this
Players are all different when it comes to personality. I know some players who were the nicest people you could ever want to be with but when they played and things went wrong you couldn't go near them until they calmed down. Now I'm not saying what some Leeds players did was right but you have to allow some people to deal with things in their own way, rightly or wrongly.
Fans will and are being angry about what happened but its just another stick to beat the players with now that things are going wrong. I will guarantee you most if not all Leeds fans who complained about this would bite your hand off to stop and chat with the ones that walked out of that hotel and didn't talk to the fans if they had the chance.
Football fans are a notoriously fickle bunch.

Oh I’m sure I’m a dick sometimes.
But these overpaid pampered footballers are representing their club and it’s the absolute minimum expected that they should take some time away from their phones to chat with a youngster etc.

But then what do you expect when you have the likes of orta trying it on with fans, genuinely has a ego that lad does and Radz loves himself too.

They don't represent the true people of Leeds , and El Loco hammered it into every player when he joined the club,what football is without the supporters that work hard to be able to afford going to games etc.

No-one asking them too sign s**t or take photos just fecking acknowledge your support, and how lucky you are to be doing the profession they are doing.

Some forget there roots and background but.

It's time they took there heads out there rings,and appreciated that support.
