Re: Leeds Utd v Queens Park Rangers Match Thread
If Bamford did that to get a pen would anyone care, probably not but in that situation he knows exactly what will happen. Not a fan. Bielsa would’ve hated that.
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

Re: Leeds Utd v Queens Park Rangers Match Thread
Not sure that's the case as he took his first shot fine. Seems more like par for the course as any other striker would have done the same. Unfortunately, it's part of the game.Scott wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 8:54 pm Happy with the win, happy we were the better side, not too happy with the overall performance in the 2nd half. Nice to not be at our best and dominate, these are the games we need to collect 3 points in.
I wonder if Bamford will be in any trouble, but I'm pretty upset at him for that, because it's a clear chance of a goal, I'd have preferred 2-0 than getting them a red card. Is it a sign of a striker who doesn't feel confident finishing?

I was disappointed with Bamfords dive. I hope they overturn the card on appeal he never touched him. Crap game, especially second half but a scrappy 3 points it is.Scott wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 8:54 pm Happy with the win, happy we were the better side, not too happy with the overall performance in the 2nd half. I've wondered what MB would have done in the Spurs Liverpool game.

Seeing that the error was not by any of his players I doubt he would have done anythingThe Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 9:02 pm I've wondered what MB would have done in the Spurs Liverpool game.

The yshould do and issue an apology, don't think it affected the game and in the end it probably added a lot to the added time

Maybe but in hindsight, we played a few pretty poor teams (and lost to them) towards the end of last season. I've always felt the bottom of the PL and the top of the Championship are pretty close.
To me he - and a couple of the others - just look like they know what the plan is this year and their role in it. He also frankly has better players around him - no fatso McKennie and the like.

Not the first time Bamford's cheated is it?

Moral high ground is easy on the Bamford decision.
Think we have a lot of morality in the bank to spend given some of the decisions against us.
VAR algorithm seemed to have inbuilt bias against us for a couple of years
Bamford decision not pretty but didn’t affect outcome really

Posty ... put him in Klopp's position he'd just get on with it.

Bamford was much more involved than Piroe tbf to him.
The sending off looked very soft though as if he made the absolute most of it.

Rodon's 6th consecutive game without conceding a goal I think

Exactly , they are all at it . Cheating is a big part of the game nowadays unfortunately.
There needs to be some sort of retrospective punishment for blatant diving ,to stop it.

Last man, the second it was called foul it had to be a sending off. Paddy's FK almost looked apologetic.
