Honestly, my expectations of this lot and the club are nothing now.

You can drop the “eer” and be equally correct, White Riot.White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 1:07 pm Not having a dig at Americans in general Joe![]()
Just these deer ticks that are masquerading as our owners and "investors".
The lack of a plan or direction from them is concerning. I could understand if they used the proceeds to go buy a ton of young “prospects” (like Geo and Willy prior to our hearing of them) as much as buying established players (Clarke, Rowe, etc.). The lack of any incomings while leaving the squad threadbare all the while leaving it all last minute is such a dangerous strategy. Methinks they should go after young prospects while obtaining veteran loannees to help make a push. That will afford the youngsters time to get bedded in.
My apologies, I couldn’t help the digression. Trying to find a sliver of optimism amidst this “insomnia cure” of a football match.

Great clearing header there but yes, he's not fully fit

That sounds like a good plan Joe. Problem is if we throw it all at Jack Clarke, there won't be much left.JoeDenver wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 1:21 pm You can drop the “eer” and be equally correct, White Riot.

I still think we need 4/5 players.

Paddy looking the most lively of the lot these past 3 minutes…moves so much more than Piroe and he’s permanently injured.

Wondering if he's carrying an injury or not fully fit
Would be nice to throw Cresswell on for the last 10

Frustrating watch, lets see what happens off the pitch over the course of the week, not expecting much but the gaps in the team are glaring

He comes deeper but that comes at a cost too... Joseph needs the skill players, the way we are now a battling Paddy might be a better option for a team void of ideas
4/5 players are a must
