Very good performance!! Solid defensively and in the midfield. The attacking group was excellent tonight and actually should have scored at least one more goal. I really liked the interchange between Gnonto and Aaronson. I think that made us a bit unpredictable. And I really liked the work rate of Joseph. My only real critical thought is that in my opinion Joseph drifted a bit deep at times. I would have liked to see him stay a bit higher. But you can't criticize his results with two assists and 3 shots on goal. And I thought his overall energy was a key for us tonight.

Absolutely dominant and pleasing performance in a game that could have been tricky, bring on Hull.

Can't really pick a below poor performance or tactical issue.

Kept the pressure up 2nd half which was a pleasant change from DF which was good.

Aaronson gave a much better balance in midfield than Piroe unsurprisingly and Gnonto drifting all over gave Wendies many issues whilst James kept the width.

Defended well when necessary and attacked with much less plodding than usual.

Good performance

Mateo Joseph was an absolute beast as well, great movement, great hold up and link play.

Really good.

Something to build on hopefully
100%

Gotta follow it up though.

Leeds forward Mateo Joseph, speaking to Sky Sports Football: "I'm really happy for the team. Sheffield Wednesday away is always a difficult one.
"We worked hard, prepared well and got a result. We did everything right, listened to the coach and did what he told us."
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

Ref was standing out of shot waiting to book James, I think the lad was trying to bribe him.

Not sure I saw the Rohl effect. Obviously his tools aren’t as expensive as ours but I was disappointed in them at 0-2. Probably avoiding another tanking.
He wants to press, they tried we played through it.

We did well, they had a similar problem as Ipswich did, better players vs a risky style.

But as you say it's a different level of player, our 3 behind the striker cost £55mil, its different finance levels and it showed.

Gnonto playing centrally was magnificent tonight.

Our pressing, passing, movement on & off the ball.

Both goals brilliantly taken, so pleased for Aaronson.

James flick for first goal.

Joseph's sublime pass.

Defensively strong.

Clean sheet.

Interesting comments from D Farke afterwards
- we lost quality and hard to replace at the flick of a switch
- Joseph good but some negatives as well to keep him grounded
- got 90 points last season doing a lot of what we did tonight
- Squad is light and will be addressed in the next week ... here's hoping

Very measured in his comments I thought.

Ampadu dropping into a back 3, Firpo hugging the left wing, gives Gnonto a lot of freedom.

Maybe because sometimes you are the contrarian voice. The guy most likely to piss on the parade. But you didn't do that today. So I was just giving credit where it's due. Cheers!! ;-)
