We'd need to go 442 or 352 if Piroe is to be used properly...

Gnonto passing has been just so lazy.

well well DF uses a 3rd sub on 90th min and a 4th 1 min into added time. Oh just remembered he did this last season
Leeds need a great summer 2026 with outgoings and incoming players

I wouldn't mind those formations if it gets the best out of Piroe. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 3:52 pm We'd need to go 442 or 352 if Piroe is to be used properly...
Far too much fannying about today.

Farke has the handbrake on all the time Victor, he's the one holding us back.Victor_Notts-17 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 3:50 pm Sorry man: it's not you! Just fkn frustrated with this team...
This continual sidewards and backwards passing is under Farke's instructions and he is pissing me right off with this.
We should coast through matches like this today and we don't at all.

Tanaka fits the Farke model perfectly, playing 5 yard triangles against 10 men

It sends you nuts watching it Leon.
What happened to taking the game by the scruff of the neck?
Forget promotion with Farke in charge.
We are so predictable it's not funny.

My god that was mind-numbing. We should have torn these to shreds. Goodnight everybody.

Not replacing Rutter will cost us dearly. And Farkes tactics are p1551ng me off. We are not playing to our strengths. Oh and PIROE must start next match...

I enjoyed that as much as I would enjoy a ready made microwave Christmas dinner. Piroe shows his class and how to finish.

Thank God that’s over, I can go and watch some paint dry for a bit more excitement. Take the 3 points & move on.

On a positive note…
Comfortable two nil away win which with better finishing from Largie and Strujik would have been 4-0

Got the result which is a positive.
Couldn't have had it made easier for us and yet it was a slog again.
Possession stats must be off the charts though so that's what matters.
3 points, move on to something more exciting like watching the grass grow.

Piroe got a goal on the break from one of Cardiff's two attacks.

Well that was a boring game. Don't think I can drag myself out of bed for too many more of these.
I'm really hoping it's just a case of us finding our groove again. And that with a bit better chemistry, we'll see some more aggressive football.

Re: Cardiff City v Leeds Utd Match Thread
It's the lack of urgency that bothers me. Should have put that game away in 55 minutes. Then spent the rest of the game passing the ball around and bringing new players off the bench.
