Trandfermarkt lists 2 that he scored in regular play/ Doesn't include shootouts.

I remember the one from the shootout in the Carabao last season. Can't think of another one.

Piroe joint top scorer after 6 on very limited minutes. Joseph is the assist leader

Struijk, Rodon, Gruev, Firpo and Amps had over 100 touches each.

Joseph had 30.

Not gonna complain much after a win but sums it up for me.

It's the desire even when everything is going your way to do the safe easy pass thay gets Me.

Tanaka incidentally had 25 touches, only 5 less than Mateo.

2 in regular play were Preston and Portsmouth. That's what Transfermarkt lists

I cant find shootouts. He scored against Salford in a shootout. Wondering if there were any others.

Sorry but a CB/defender should not be a designated penalty taker IMO. And don't come back at me with Phil Neil or Mel Sterland because they were exceptions to the rule (and there are probably more). But if as a squad cannot find 2/3/4 designated penalty takers out of the attckers we have: we are in trouble. Attackers are paid to score goals whether set pieces or otherwise...

Stuart Pearce, Steve Bruce.

Messing with you

Honestly though. Strujik has shown himself to be decent from the spot. In my memory, he was 3/3 before that. The one he scored against Salford last year was a cracker. And, he's shown more composure in the box than most of our attacking players. But I do agree that we should have 2 or 3 better penalty takers - Piroe would have taken it. But you'd think Aaronson, Gnonto, Ramazani, Joseph, Gruev should all take a decent penalty.

I take your point though, I’m not keen either.

What happened to taking the game by the scruff of the neck?

Forget promotion with Farke in charge.

We are so predictable it's not funny.
It does drive us nuts, James.

We need to be more incisive & direct with our passing. Twice today, Dorigo said we can catch them on the break now with a man advantage, what do we do? took the wrong option by playing a pass sideways. meanwhile, Cardiff have time to get their defence in shape before we attack again.

Btw, I'll nominate the current Cardiff side, as one of the worst championship teams I've seen in a long time. The bluebirds are known for their physicality & fight, today they were meek as a mouse!

They were woeful.

Gruev is the epitome of backwards and sideways fannying about.

We should be starting Tanaka, or even Rothwell, and steamrollering teams like this in the first half of games.

Having said that - a tactical masterclass from Farke today! :roflmao:

we played nearly 80 minutes against a team so lacking in character I can't recall a single player worthy of mention. Today was like eating fish and chips without salt and vinegar. It does a job, but leaves you wanting. And the lack of bite in attack is getting a bit repetitive.

We want to see football that instils belief in us to think we have a realistic chance of going up with this team/squad. How could you not know that?

PS: Thank my wife for encouraging me to change my previous sentence in the above paragraph where, after some deliberation, I made it a question. My original text was a shade more unbecoming of a man of faith. Have a good day sir

Cardiff had no corners today (thankfully)

21% possession for the Bluebirds. Two shots, one on target.

I am happy with the win and 3 points.

But this is probably the easiest away game we will have all season, they could barely lay a glove on us. We should have had a hatful and the camera panning to Farke clearly showed his frustration.

It was for the most part lacklustre by quite a few players.
