Firpo takes two men to the front post, leaves the big gap behind for Struijk

We were, tbh, by a distance for me ... I've never been more sure we'd win the division at the three quarter point.

Nobody mentioned Joseph had a handful of the defender's shirt

Would have been disallowed with VAR

Bogle getting some pellters online for celebrating when his old team mate has died - I can’t see how you conflate the two to be honest, due respect was shown before the game and it’s refreshing to see a player celebrate against his old club.

I do think his positional play could be a little better. He hasn't been getting into the right positions to score goals. That's something he can develop.

But hopefully that goal is a trigger for his confidence. We'll be great if he realizes his potential this season.

Wilder has done that evey time and got two wins doing it before tonight.

Shots on target 0
XG 0.21
Touches in Box 4
Their first Championship game under Wilder without a shot on target apparently

He’s on the near post and is marked by two defenders. He jostles both and steps a couple of paces towards rthe touchline. Result is a big hole that Pascal exploits.

We were better than Leicester and Ipswich. But we weren't better than Southampton.

I'm not sure the supply has been there in a few games this season.. But he has a very healthy goals to games started rate for us.

I think we had a much better team, Martin just out thought Farke

It was really nice play by Piroe to set up the goal. Watching live and rewatching on the replay, I expected him to wait for Solomon to overlap then kick it down the wing. It was really nice play by him in the end. Piroe is starting to look like he can play 9 and 10 for us.

They should have punished Rodon for his error with at least a shot at goal but they faffed around

Noticed that in the replay for the goal, but their defender didn’t appeal for some reason

Well their fans booed him all game, despite telling us he was crap and they had our pants down

Was worried that'd be their luck moment, but thankfully they fluffed it

Yes would have been disallowed with VAR. We got away with one there.

Can't mention VAR if it doesn't exist, plus we've missed out on plenty of decisions
