I think it might have been the Luton game, certainly one recently, where Piroe kept the 2 centrebacks fully focussed on him and it allowed James all the freedom in the world to get in behind their defence.
I think it is a folly to say Joseph creates more space etc. It is usually down more to how the opposition try to play. Often whether it be Piroe or Joseph we aren't going to get in behind the opposition too much because they are defending en masse very deep.

That’s a good way of putting it, Leon. He also gets after it offensively. Lacks the pace to consistently recover might be the only glaring issue for me.

I agree. Someone mentioned this is a good back 4 when we play the better teams who wont just park the bus. I think that makes sense.

The wing-back is not an easy position to play, constantly running up & down the flanks for 70 to 90 minutes.
Wober had 24 decent moments of play, only Tanaka achieved more!
