Disappointing but Blackburn set their stall out to defend in numbers and rely on the occasional counter attack and that's what they did
Such a s**t goal to concede.

Sure? Stoke had 14 shots and more than Burnley on target

Bit of a downer conceding in the manner we did, but it is what it is. Too many players wrestling with theirs instead of defending the situation.

Taking the 3 points would have been great, 1 is not a disaster.

We didn’t play well but in the end we lost because we can’t defend a corner.

Conceded possession, sat deep and broke when they could.

Wouldn't want Blackburn in the playoffs.

Had a plan and it worked, frustrating not to hold on having taken the lead so late though.

So Leeds......

Draw deserved if I'm honest though. Poor in first half and not much better in the second. Blackburn showed heart, more physicality and kept things organised. If we get promoted there's a lot of players needed to break down sides.

Disappointing defending for the goal (not a corner in first place).... No one really marking anyone, ball watching, still thinking about the pen (should have had at least one more btw).

Low quality referee as we have come to expect in England, the little niggly pullbacks go unpunished again that matter more us trying to play football than other teams. How they are on 130k for the service they offer is beyond me... That throw when batth cleared James out at the end.... Just wow.... Incompetent and zero consequence week in week out.

Not the end of the world but deflating conceding so late.
Worrying we don't create too many chances when teams sit back.

14 shots at goal says otherwise, be surprised if Blackburn came close. Holding possession (to pad the stats) in your own third is very poor football and we do it too. Burnley have a slight excuse in that they don't have the attacking quality we do

At least with the 2 away wins we could afford a blip and it could have been worse, as was the case last year. We never really got going so at least it is a point picked up when not playing well. With Burnley only drawing it is no great damage done, hopefully the blades lose tonight.

No doubt the gloom mongerers will be out in force though....

You cant always get what you want in football. Move onto the next game and hopefully we don`t have too many injuries to worry about.

Big difference would be that in the prem teams won't be thinking about parking the bus against us and being happy to take a point. Open games may suit us better.

Blackburn came with a plan, carried it out perfectly and got their reward. Disappointing start to the year.

In theory you'd hope so.

But we also move the ball too slowly for proper counter football.
