I get Gruev as the wendies have cut through us, but Tanaka should've been subbed rather than Rothwell

Nope he's looking like an athletic CAM playing as a 10..... Very good today, but mostly effort rather than direct impact (aside from that sublime run).

A 10 picks a pass, unlocks a defence and uses his vision. None of that Aarronsson is particularly good at. That isn't a reflection on him just never been his game, not that kind of player.
