We usually start slow away from home, and not unusual to concede first.

So that 1st goal was vital, that and Mes save from the header 2 most pivotal moments imo
For me that was the main reason why Gruev was brought in for the away matches. Make sure we don't concede first because if we don't we have enough attacking threat that our quality will shine through.

But a comfortable win. And we dont seem to concede goals anymore….
Would you say Lampard was put in his plaice?

Alongside him, Tanaka was great in the 8 role tonight, and offered a bit more in reading the game and intervening defensively than Joe might have.

Excellent performance, and I couldn't even fit him in my top 6.

Wonder how they score Bogle's goal - technically it should have been in the keeper's hands and a 0.0 xg.
Bogle's goal had an xG of 0.36.

For additional context, Piroe's was 0.56. Hos goal had the single highest xG of the match. The next highest was 0.49, which was Piroe's miss in the 77th minute.

BBC Breakfast News totally ignored Leeds United's victory on their sports roundup.

Firstly, the Newcastle v Arsenal game.
Slot discussing Liverpool's game tonight.
Celtic's game last night.
Women's football.
Female driver to compete in a Grand Prix race.

They reported on the Blackburn v Preston game last week.

Will some of our negative fans have faith in us now?

Why some of our fans thought Coventry would draw or even beat us is baffling.

I suppose if you don't watch other championship matches apart from Leeds, one can convince themselves the likes of Cardiff & Coventry were on a good run, so we'd struggle to beat them.

The difference in our quality in comparison to the other championship clubs is massive!

Yes, we may lose the odd game, but I would assume our win rate is around 90% right now.

I have no issue with that, let’s just fly under the radar as long as possible. The fans know how well we’re doing & that’s enough.

Let's keep it a secret that we are the best, enjoy it as a guilty pleasure... it is like belonging to an elite club where we smoke cigars and drink bottles of expensive vintage wine.

That result was inches away from being 2-2 ,I've never seen us miss so many chances by so many players.
But yes I'm starting to belive we can get promoted if we can keep our nerve and not bottle it like we have been known to do in the past 👍

I wouldn't say inches away, yes Meslier made two excellent saves to maintain a two-goal margin.

We are a better, balanced squad this season, not reliant on just the skills of Summerville & Rutter.

For example : Bogle's 4 goals & two assists compared to Archie a rising star but produced very little offensively.

We have 14 different goalscorers, nine players scored 3 or more.

We also have a defence that has lept 20 clean sheets out of 31 matches.

Matt is probably the fairest minded opposition fan in the championship, goes home & away to Coventry games. He has always insisted Leeds would win the league.

Good footage & atmosphere from the game.
