We'll need several champo players to pad out the squad next season. Just like Bielsa and Wilko did after promotion. Rothwell could be a good shout, except he's not our player to keep.

If he's got a super cheap buy clause, might be worth a bench spot. But I'd hope the RB 49ers are aiming higher.

Well apparently Bournemouth are willing to sell him so if we want him I am sure a fee can be arranged. Pretty certain Rothwell would love to join the club. But there are a lot of good players out there and we appear to have a good recruitment network.

I like quite a few of the Sunderland team. Hulme is a terrific player and I wouldn’t say no to Bellingham, very athletic, technical and strong, he looks ready to step up to the next level. No doubt he will get a lot of interest in the summer. Sunderland should get a good fee for him and if they invest the money wisely will be in the running next season if they do not go up this year.

We fairly dominated the second half.

Statistically we dominated as well.

They had 34% possession and only seven touches inside the box.

Ten corners to zero. Twenty-one shots to six (Granted, all six of theirs were on target).

A loss or a draw would have been unfair. But we did have an off day.
