Let me help your memory Cjay.

We had 9 points in our first 9 games of the 2022/23 season under Marsch. We didn't get any more points until we beat Bournemouth in our 13th game on November 5, 2022. So it was 12 points out of 13 matches. Then we lost a tough match to Spurs 4-3 on November 12th before the WORLD CUP break. The Premier League season resumed for us six weeks later on December 28th with a loss to Manchester City. A match we had to play without Tyler Adams due to a late red card he got against Spurs.

In retrospect, the World Cup did us no favors. Adams was injured in March and never played for us again. And Aaronson was never the same player that season after a poor WC performance. The loss of Adams, and the drop in form of Aaronson delivered a massive blow to our fight to stay in the Premier League. Had we not had that WC break I think we might have survived the idiocy of Jesse Marsch. I think we could have stayed up. And Jesse would have gotten a stay of execution.

Yea I think we need to be steady. We have 10 very difficult matches before we get to January. I'd like to see us with at least 8 points out of that mess. We do that and I'll like our chances to stay up going into the 2nd half of the season. But these next 10 matches will be tough!!
