Why are our crosses all hit & hope?
And why do we allow so many crosses into our box?
It's no coincidence our CBs are overworked.

So, you are dissing Nmecha's six goals now & still rattling on about Piroe whose turn was so slow, his shot was blocked & easily defended near the end of the game.Cjay wrote: ↑Sun Feb 15, 2026 4:27 pm 3 of the games he's scored in we've lost including a literal tap in from the line vs Villa
He scored a pen vs Everton to win.
A pen vs Chelsea to draw.
Fulham probably his biggest contribution.
I'd have backed Piroe to do as well if not better tbf.
But we will never know.
Still say he's a wide forward not a 9

The cup game is the last of those three games John, but either way a home draw would make things easier.John in Louisiana wrote: ↑Sun Feb 15, 2026 5:29 pm Very important, then, to get a home draw. I'd hate to have to travel between those two games.

Sorry to hear about your friend OBOrange Box wrote: ↑Sun Feb 15, 2026 4:57 pm I missed the entire ET and penalties, a friend unexpectedly popped by, he has serious health issues and not expected to live much too longer. Some things take precedence over football, even Leeds United. Great to see him in decent form.
Match of the Day will show the highlights tonight.

So happens that with the exception of Aaronson, and our recent loan signing, every one on that list a 2025 summer signing....

Piroe is nowhere near match sharp, same as Tanaka, Gnonto, Buonanotte.
Can't be judged on stone cold 90 minutes after barely playing for months.
It's not dissing, it's an opinion.

He had the bottle in his hand at the end and I heard him with the coach saying that the Brum players didnt have their names on the back of their shirts only numbers so he didnt know which player was which. So he probably does deserve some credit for the saves......

Re: Birmingham City v Leeds United Match Thread
I hadn’t even noticed they had no names on their shirts, sneaky bug***s. Any keeper that saves a penalty deserves credit, we’ve hardly been blessed with many lately. Our pens were excellent though.whiteswan wrote: ↑Sun Feb 15, 2026 6:15 pm He had the bottle in his hand at the end and I heard him with the coach saying that the Brum players didnt have their names on the back of their shirts only numbers so he didnt know which player was which. Bijol & Justin had 23 & 20 respectively excellent/very good pieces of play as shown in my other post.

They were excellent, to be honest, I expected us to fluff one or two of them, after our lukewarm performance

Along with Calvert-Lewin, I agree!CHAPELALLMAN wrote: ↑Sun Feb 15, 2026 6:27 pm And Bijol and Justin have been the best signing of the newbies mentioned on that list.

So Longstaff had 10 errors and 10 excellent/good pieces of play. Not as bad as some are making out then.
I thought he did okay, made some good tackles and covered a lot of ground
