Very fine margins this season as some of us have known all along and of course it's not just down to one player as the same could be said if any one of DCL, Rodon, Ampedu or Stach had suffered a season ending injury.

Along with Pascal, our five most important players, the best spine of a Leeds team in many years.

I would be confident in saying Nmecha has scored or assisted more key goals tbh.

I can think of 3 games where we earned 7 points solely because he either scored the only goal or scored or assisted them.

Yes it was a shocker, he only had to hit the target as their goalie went the other way.

I also believe had DCL scored the penalty, the Gudmundsson incident does not happen a minute later & we probably go on & win the game.

However, I'm not beating DCL with a stick for one shocking moment, sometimes it's good to show a bit of humanity as Ampadu immediately did so!

DCL is not the only one to miss a penalty this season, and he probably won't be the last.

Winning goal imo is the most important goal.

If you score the first goal in 8-0 win is that a key goal?

You could argue it sets the tone but that's speculation, whereas a winning goal or a goal that is the equalising one leaves no doubt.

Saying he hasn't been great recently is hardly turning up at his house yelling at him.

I think he's in poor form atm generally.

Nobody has said he should be dropped or sold or paraded naked through the streets whilst his bum is whipped by passers by with Leeds scarves.

I'm sure he wouldn't object to me saying it, he got far far worse from Everton fans.

Without DCL we'd almost certainly be in the bottom 3 and more than likely doomed to relegation along with Wolves & Burnley.

Around 10 goals isn’t it, joint top English goalscorer in the PL.

Lost 73% of his duels.

Isolated 2nd half but was hardly setting the world on fire 1st half either.

6 for me is average which is fair overall and I'd deduct 1 point for the pen miss or half if feeling kind.

I agree the penalty miss was not great. But it happens even to the best players.

He had obviously decided he was going to whip it towards the goalies right. Whether he should have adapted in that fraction of a second to just place it after the keeper committed himself is not easy without the in vogue stuttering run up.

DCL was playing the target man against three central defenders so you would expect his dual win ratio to be lower than normal, he was closely marked all the game.

He is still the go to No9 for me with the system we play. He has been great for us this season.
