6 for me, very difficult to rate a friendly with so many changes.

6 for me. Good in spells but defending??? We look like we will concede every time we lose posession at the half-way line. And we give away/lose posession a lot (too much)! We always look good on the front foot and we can hurt any time when we go for it. Was better second half and I am encouraged by what we can do to teams. I think we will improve a lot though. Wanted to give a 7 but don't think we were quite that good. 6/10 for me...

A lot of good performances, both halves, but we played as a team more in the second with Gnonto's class the trigger for some of our better moments.
Trafford excellent, Muha and James the best of the first half. Mention for Aaronson for the goal
Gnonto, Rodon, Cresswell and Okafor the pick of the second
Gnonto edges the MOTM for me
8 overall

Agree about Gnonto as MOTM but Joe has been excellent in pre season, some clever passes down the line to Gnonto & Wilson ( who looked right off his game ) & he’s hard to stop when he goes on a run. Okafor looked sharp as well & if we can keep him fit he could be a game changer this season. Trafford looks the business & the Tank will hopefully make us forget the disappointment of losing Pascal. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2026 12:47 pm A lot of good performances, both halves, but we played as a team more in the second with Gnonto's class the trigger for some of our better moments.

All in all a very decent pre season but I’m hoping Trafford gets 90 minutes tomorrow with more minutes for Okafor, Gnonto & Stach.

6 for me.
Good in places but could have lost 3 or 4-1 but for the woodwork.
Kids couldn’t handle Mbuemo’s power, it’ll be different in the PL so hey ho.
