Trust Leeds Recruitment
In the past we have had some pretty awful transfer windows, but now the the recruitment are on it and bringing in some real gems.
We said goodbye to Pascal and replaced him with Tarik imo an upgrade. We probably have the best goalkeeper in the Premiership in James Trafford and now we have another gem in defence in Nico Elvedi. My point is that what we are bringing in is adding to the side in massive way. We need more I know, another guy up front and a left sided player to cover Gabby, but you must agree or disagree if you like, that Leeds are certainly picking out some gems to move us forward. Who next is on the horizon? Its exciting times to be a Leeds fan and watching the team grow.

If they can have the same percentage of success rate as last time the squad will be in great shape.Musicman1965 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2026 6:16 pm In the past we have had some pretty awful transfer windows, but now the the recruitment are on it and bringing in some real gems.

Perri was the only disappointment imo.

I like the business that's been conducted. As you have said, we've signed some real gems that will raise the bar. And I actually LOVE that they concentrated on the defensive spine of the team. We now have what CAN BE an elite defensive unite. Time will tell, but it's looking good so far.
Trafford,
Rodon, Bijol/Elvedi, Muharemavic,
Ampadu, Stach.

I think they were right to focus on trying to improve our defensive record. No team above us conceded more goals - and two teams that finished below us conceded less. So clearly there is room for improvement on that.
The flip side is that scoring wise we scored more than all the teams below us - and scored more than 3 teams that finsihed higher than us. So even though at times we looked toothless, and lacked the creative 10, we managed to find ways to score and spread goals throughout the team. Tarik and Elvedi may even help us getting a few from set pieces and Wilson wil hopefully add a few goals and assists too.
On paper, and the pitch so far, it lookes excellent business. Sure we could probably do with a couple more players but I'd take 4 or 5 quality signings over 9 or 10 okay signings.
