Battered at home ,they work really hard to win the ball but unlike us they can play football when they get it.
I can't see any solutions on the bench either.

From BBC: HT: Leeds 0-1 Brentford
Brentford have never lost a Premier League game when Kevin Schade has found the back of the net - winning 13 and drawing three.

Best away performance I've seen for ages, absolutely fair play Brentford.
They look organised, slick, confident, well set up.
We are basically the opposite.
Unbelievably open at times, attack hasn't worked, midfield hasn't worked, defence is stretched.
Aaronson off Tanaka on perhaps, extra body in midfield
You could take off most of the team tbf based on that.
And stop this overlapping cb thing, worked sort of with Rodon, don't think Elvedi has the pace and will just get caught out.

Okafor into the middle as the 10
Aaronson off for Tanaka...
I'd imagine Gnonto is making up numbers as he's been injured and we won't want to risk him ahead of the deadline

Brentford had 11 shots in the first half, only having more in the opening 45 minutes of a Premier League away game at West Ham in October 2025 (15).

Yep, except I think we're doing a lot to make Brentford look this goodCjay wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2026 1:56 pm Best away performance I've seen for ages, absolutely fair play Brentford.

If any team can turn this round: it's us! We are a great game-of-two-halves team but we need the half-time team talk of all team talks. Something has to drastically change too! We are one injury away from having 2 CB's for the next 2 months btw. Rodon ain't coming back soon...

Tempted to get Nmecha on?
If DCL can't hold the ball up which he's struggling to do he offers nothing else.
Atleast Nmecha has a bit of pace and skill

We need to attack and hold it up there.
Change to 4 3 3
Aaronson off Wilson on to make front 3
Bogle off and Longstaff on to move into midfield.

Perhaps a beating today will be a blessing - if we won the board might close the window early, this way at least they should see we are still short.

Bijol was also caught fast asleep twice when they scored. Which is equally concerning.Victor_OTT_17 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2026 2:00 pm If any team can turn this round: it's us! Square peg, round hole (and only a 6 foot tall square peg at that). I don't believe in playing players out of position for any great length of time. Will help in-a-pinch ie: Ayling at CB in the past but long-term? Nope...

There's also Alfie Cresswell, but Farke is allergic to giving academy players a chance.

Danny Boy not keen on early subs but surely he has to change something here at HT.
