I guess a couple of concerts, England RL, maybe a couple of Rhinos games too?Wes Lee Street wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2026 11:20 am I am relieved that we are not having a playing surface laid in a metal tray. A metal tray which slides away under the West Stand.
A maximum of eight non-football events is fine. IMO.

Re: West Stand Redevelopment
So I'm guessing the roof of the West Stand will come off and then just build on top of it to add to the capacity? What about the outside and the interior? It's very dated inside as well.

I'm assuming that the top part of the new stand will be built over the existing stand allowing spectators to carry on and then in the close season the 'old' stand will be removed completely allowing the lower new section to be built.
Maybe others on here have other information?

I think they are keeping the lower tier but tarting it up above (spectator view) and below (cafes, toilets etc) then building the new tier with concourse and roof.whiteswan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2026 11:47 am I'm assuming that the top part of the new stand will be built over the existing stand allowing spectators to carry on and then in the close season the 'old' stand will be removed completely allowing the lower new section to be built.
