Lift to Motherwell

Anyone driving to Motherwell on Saturday?
I'm looking for a lift from Penrith M6 J40 and back after the game. Can anyone help?

You'll regret it if you don't go. Wish I could see them on my doorstep (without a 2-hour round trip to get my ticket from a service station).

Not if you don't want to, but you'll be safe enough in with us Dossers. Most of us, (well the over 30's anyway), have a soft spot for Leeds......... (just ask the Soul Crew )

If the rumours of 3-4K travelling up then you'll get the South Stand. It holds 5k, and you'll probably have more than us, as most Lanarkshire folks are in Spain or Blackpool this time of year.

Err i dont think the shopping in Motherwell would be as exciting as in Leeds!

Don't believe it's All Ticket. Local OB will probably insist on segregation, even though we only get trouble at Fir Park when we play Celtic or Rangers.

For those looking for a pint(s) beforehand, there's about 8 pubs on the 2 mile trekk from the station to the ground. If you are early enough, the Fir Park Club will let visitors in, but defo no Celtic badges here .... it's kinda Rangers(ish).

For a blether with the friendly locals go to the Electric Bar, (right beside Airbles train station - 1 stop from Motherwell station on the Hamilton loop), or Jack Daniels, (the closest pub to the ground who have a large bar area dedicated to away fans).
And remember it's Heavy, not Bitter

If there's over 3000 coming up, I'd say they'll be in all of them. As you know, it's a fairly small town ..... 27,000(ish), and not many pubs to choose from. Since the demise of the steel works the town is slowly dieing.
