Hearing reports from fans who were at the game that he was very impressive again today again confirming his performance from the radio commentary i heard this afternoon
Was my MOTM v Donny & Coventry, his touch, control, running the channels & workrate is superb, great goal today his second in a Leeds shirt, more to come from AK
Sorry Luci fans but Keogh has to be one of the first names on Larry's teamsheet

He might do what most of our other loan to transfer signings do and start being s**t, though.

And when you have a transfer policy like we do, an initial 6 month loan is the smartest thing to do anyway.. we cant afford to take a risk on a player. We need to try before we buy.
O'Dea, Keogh, and Pugh should all be signed up though... Hard workers, good age, good experience. I'd be proud to call them Leeds players.
Isnt it funny how we're always linked with ex-players coming back (Alan Smith, Lee Bowyer, John Woodgate) and eventually we do sign a couple, but who would have thought they'd be Andy Keogh and Danny Pugh..
I wouldnt swap either of them for any of those other three now!

Ah but would you swap them for a beckford and a gradel?

Nope.
Ross is a top goal scorer, works hard and doesn't have arrogant, hissy fits like Beckford.
Keogh works as hard if not harder than Gradel, has more skill and isn't a selfish twot.
Despite a definite improvement since paired with young Lees, I'm still uncertain about O'Dea. Maybe Lees is the only player he's comfortable with, if so, what happens when Lees is out of the team and he's paired up with Bromby or Kisnorbo?
His distribution also needs some work, against Coventry he reverted to an impression of Collins/Naylor, - anywhere will do when under pressure. I'd like to think he's better than that, but needs to show it consistantly.
Still, delighted we've found a reasonanble pair of CB's at last, both young, willing and eager to improve.
What makes Keogh a great story is his background as a very promising youth player at Leeds, and now his chance to fullfil a decent career with LUFC. It would be fabulous if he goes on now to do that, firstly in the Championship then the PL. Is he really made of the stuff that could make him at least moderately successful in the PL? Certainly he has many attributes that make him easy to like as a Leeds player - but is his apparent limitation as a goalscorer too much of a shortcoming to make the transition to successful premiership player.
For now it's easy to enjoy what he is doing for the club at this level.

What worries me more, is that O'Dea is one yellow card away from a ban. Who do we have that is solid enough to work alongside young Tom, at CB?
So I have just noticed that on the OS under the "squad" tab in the squad list, Darren O'Dea and Danny Pugh are listed as (on loan from Celtic/Stoke), but Andy Keogh is not. Potentially signing him in January? or are the moderators of the OS just muppets?
From what I know, the Keogh deal is pretty signed and sealed, just waiting for the next transfer window to make it official. When he came aboard, it was a loan until January, with the view that it become permanent during that time. Whether or not the LUFC web monkeys are muppets or not, is another matter.
