Agree with your comments and I cannot figure out why he looks a better player for Ireland than Leeds. Is it to do with whom he plays alongside (St Ledger) or a manager with defensive instincts (Trap) :duno:
Nothing to do with the manager on this occasion - I certainly don't think NW said "Whatever you do, give Lambert time and space in the area". No, that's just a lack of defensive instinct.
Bates, GFH, Cellino: Same s**t, different arseholes.

He followed the ball & then tracked it when he should have left it to Lees & Connolly (i think)

He actually ran away from the top striker in the championship. Naive or what ?

Was sat in a bar in London with one other Leeds supporter, 5 So'ton players and about 20 or so neutral, ranging from Scum supporters to Palace to Charlton. Anyway, the banter was great and afterwards every one was praising Leeds. It was weird. I've never watched a game where one team looks many times better than the other and loses. We've been the poorer team and won a few times, but not dominated that much.

Apart from the general play, there were a number of benefits including the emergence of Brown and Webber as people who I would easily put onto the team sheet first. A really good run to the end of this season, if it doesnt get us into the playoffs, will at least give us a lot of confidence and hopefully convince a lot of players to stay, and dominate, next season.

Maybe NW needs to cultivate an Italian accent when explaining his duties to O'Dea

Agree we were unlucky not to get a point but lets not forget we got nowt its ok the players putting in a performance like that but why do they not look at themselves and say we have been letting the fans and Simon Grayson down in some ways a bit like the Chelsea players have done. It,s ok to get carried away with one game but we need to do it for thee rest of the season. As for next season i dont think any of us can look to far forward it depends on who Warnock can buy and i dont mean freebies and loanees plus if we cant keep our better players forget any hope of promotion. As for Southampton getting battered thats promotion form getting battered but still getting the 3points.
