Lallana - Southampton
Whittingham - Cardiff
Noble - West Ham
M Phillips - Blackpool
Lambert - Southampton
Rodriguez - Burnley

Says it all about our overrated bunch of players

really?

Because we don't have any of the best 11 this year they are all terrible?

why is it most Leeds fans think our players are either brilliant of awful? most of our players are average Championship level, which is reflected in our position in the table.

All from teams above us (in the playoffs/promoted) bar two, and one of those is on equal points to us.

I doubt anyone was expecting us to have any players in there... In fact, was anyone in there last season?

Meanwhile in League 1, Ched Evans made it into the team and now he's in jail... Silly boy!

True !

Just that some of our fans hail our players as if they are the best thing since sliced bread when they are quite frankly & simply ordinary players !

Have been impressed with ten of the eleven nominated of the Championship team, only one i haven't noticed is the Palace full-back Clyne

Clyne is really good full back, quick, good positioning etc. Pretty sure he won't be at palace for the start of next season.

Jay Rogriguez is a very good striker, and is also out of contract this summer. If we have any aspirations for promotion next season, this is the sort of player we should be wooing.

Was very impressed with JR at Turf Moor last November

Good in air, superb movement, good feet, first touch is decent & lays off the ball well, a mobile striker

Snodgrass was the only one with a serious shout for a spot IMO, maybe a few more goals might've got him in there.

Let's face it, you've gotta be a pretty poor team to finish 13-14th in the Championship.. it's not really a hard league is it?
The secret to winning the Championship is pace strengh and experienced finishers.

Maybe if he was more consistent he'd have a chance, you can't expect to be in a team of the year when you only perform in less than half the matches during a season !

Our best were better than those on the list in their respective postions, that's why they were bought by Prem/French clubs.

Not sure who, if anyone, over rates our players.

Snoddy is unlucky not to make the cut - he was on fire, then played out position in the new regime and fell away. Shame but that's what happens when a team produces relegation form. Everyone suffers including the best. Shame.

The Blackpool fans I know are surprised to see their man in the team - must have been assessed many weeks ago in their view.

Hmm i dont know mate, Newcastle have totally confused me this season and i dont have a clue what management's about anymore! How can Alan pardew do awful with Southampton in League one, and then take Newcastle to the verge of a Champions League place in just his 2nd season? It's gotta be what players suit the manager surely? Obviously the Southampton players didn't suit his management style. Management just confuses me.

Hopefully Warnock get's the players he want's that suit his style, and know's from experience that those are the players that can get auto promotion. If he finishes 7th next season or is in a relegation battle by January, then i'll be calling for his head.

Snoddy always fades, never played well throughout the whole season yet !

Warnock experimented by playing Snoddy in the hole to give him a chance of having more of the ball, simple fact is he's not good enough to play in the middle of the park.
Back onto the wing i suspect where he beats the same defender three times & rarely beats the first man with his crosses.
Scored some spectacular goals though !

Lets knock Warnock not the man who signed our average/poor players NW has to work with

Yes he hasn't been great but the players are the ones who are having the stinkers as they have done all season because quite simply they are not good enough for top level championship football. We lost our best two players who carried our bunch of passengers game after game, now we are experiencing the consequences !

Believe me we'll have better quality & fitter type players next season

Let's hope Colin get's what he wants and let's hope he makes a proper fist of it, he can't be this bad again. Pardew probably dropped lucky to some extent [not knocking an amazing achievement by the way], Houghton had done well, barcodes have a scouting system in place which finds talent in France I believe [I can't see Colin scouting on the continent] and it's all just slotted into place. Next year they'll c**k up I expect just as they always do.
