With a Take Over on the Horizon the lad will be silly not to hang around , and be patient. It's not as if age is against him , learning Championship Football is what is needed .
The big boys will swallow him at such a young age and lacking experience . IMO...

Always a tricky situation imo. Yes, I always talk about youth being the future of the club, but if a prem club was to offer 5 mil+ I would probably take it.

However, before a deal was struck I would need to have someone else lined up. Just as good, if not better. 5 mil can go a long way in January.

Anything less than 5 mil, I personally hope Warnock tells them to jump. We shall learn a lot about our manager if this rumour turns out to be true.

I was refering to the take over that it will happen . The 2 million is what we can say is a deposit for purchasing our club that's what i was talking about .

If you look at the sums paid for Walcott and Oxalade-Chamberlain as promising youngsters I'd say Byram would be markedly undervalued at 2m.

No, we will learn absolutely nothing about our manager if that turned out to be true.

It is Bates and Harvey who decide who is sold and who they will release funds to buy / loan, not the manager.

Doesn't matter who actions the paper work, it would still give us an indication of what Warnock is about. I don't see him keeping his mouth shut if Everton offered a decent amount. He would make his opinion known. If he was to come out and say Sam has been sold and now has sufficient funds to find new players, then I would take that as he sold him.

If he was to say it wasn't within his control (like Snoddy), I would presume he was sold from underneath him.

Can still learn a lot from words, not just actions.
