I'm seriously concerned Weasel...if we come away with nothing in our next two home games v Sheff Wed & Burnley we are destined for League One

What concerns me about Saturday's game is our fans will be like an extra man for the Owlls with those childish peadophilie chants aimed at Dave Jones we often hear at games of late. Time to get behind the team as oppose to behaving like morons

Whereas 50 points would usually be enough there is no way that our current total of 52 points wil be enough this season and the worrying thing is that most of the teams below us are showing a lot more fight and picking up points.

Last night's late goals were like a kick in the stomach.......everything seems to be conspiring to a last day relegation survival battle :-(

Agree Leon, we have to to get one win from the two home games but like you I have such little confidence in us getting it.....Wednesday will be on a high following 2 wins on the trot and our lot look devoid of ideas, energy, passion. Best I can see is a draw.

Its all about momentum and sadly for us were on a bad run, with the lower teams picking up some form we are in desperate need of a win Saturday.
But who do you turn to in our dressing room? Not many of them strike me as a follow me into battle kind of leader, we have players with some heart like Diouf, but nobody who can lift a team when the chips are down.

Looking at those I'd say Blackburn could be doomed along with Bristol City, Blackpool have a difficult run in so do P'Boro but they seem to be picking up unlikely points. Hudds have an interesting run in 4 of the 5 games against teams below us. We need that one win, to be sure.

Unfortunately with mass clearouts, you need mass incomings. Which means that you spend less per player and the quality drops - as we saw under Warnock's utter stuff-up of the squad. We became worse and older.

I'd spend more per individual and bring in maybe three or four players and rely on them to lift the others that we already have.

Yeah agree with you 100% H. The key is to be able to get the best out of the existing squad while adding 2 or 3 decent players. NW inherited a squad which only really needed a right back and centreback. Despite this NW ripped the team apart and despite all his signings the best right back and centreback were aleady at the club (Byram and Lees).

Likewise now I feel that despite the squad being worse there is enough there to make a decent team with the addition of 2 or 3 players, possibly less if he can get more out of players than NW did and organise them better.
