Superb roast duck and roast pork dinner...great wine...decent pressies received (including 3 very nice cigars!)...a cosy day and even the inlaws were tolerable this year! :-D They stayed to help with washing up as well
I'm chilling now, smoking a Havana and enjoying a Xmas Beer 8-)
Hope all your Xmas Days will be as good tomorrow - please write them up on here!

Started the evening off with the magnificent pinnekjøtt, always nice to have father who is a chef :-D Pressies was awesome, think everyone got all they wished for, bit crazy the amount of money we spend on pressies now though. Had lots of different beers and aquavit to drink and spending time with the family is always lovely. Been a great day really :-D

Xmas is over in Denmark
So I thought I would post you a poem
Everyone has gone home at last
and I'm finally sitting alone .

Havana cigar in one hand
A Christmas beer here in my glass
Supping and toking and chilled
cos Xmas has finally passed!

It comes one day earlier in Denmark
so it's all done and dusted right here
No more stress or inlaws or geldolf
Just me and my cigar and beer.

I feel for you all in the morning
All as stressed out as I was today
but I've done it, survived and enjoyed it
Hope you all have a GREAT Xmas day!

Cracking day yesterday. 12 adults and 6 kids all round our table for din dins :). The noise was brilliant. No crying from the kids for a change. All the food cooked to perfection (by me as usual of course :) )
Lots of lovely bits and pieces with a 21 year old bottle of port and a very expensive bottle of bourbon being the true beauties :)
Doing a bit of shopping for various articles this morning and a smallish food shop for the local food bank. Then back to ours to indulge my fat arse once more.
Feliz navidad e Nuevo annuo prospero. :)
Lots of love to you all from che armers.

Not many for Xmas this year. The four of us, my wife's parents and her sister over from Hong Kong. I made traditional Turkey dinner - came out well this year ... especially the sprouts!
Four days later, and the war on leftovers has been won. I am now making meals which do not include turkey, roast potatoes, stuffing or sprouts. I feel cleansed!

Christmas Eve started with a lake in the kitchen, something wrong with the washer  eldest son arrived by train and the festivities began. Santa arrived and Thomas was very excited, Santa had appeared to knock over the glass of sherry on the fireplace in his haste to neck it  Rudolph's teeth visible in the chunk of carrot left over. Middle son was deposited on the doorstep by his dad and my 3 boys were all together :-D Awkward moment midmorning when eldest son went for his shower, I was in the kitchen making a cappuccino and felt water splashing on the back of my legs, turned round to see water dripping through the kitchen ceiling  Ex was going to go up but sent me instead due to the fact that eldest son is gay and he didn't want to think he was perving on him  I burst into the bathroom, eldest son squealing with horror telling me to get out, me head down and rushing over to the bath to make the shower screen secure and stop water cascading down the bathside. The rest of the day went smoothly, turkey and all the trimmings duly scoffed and then eldest son collected by his dad and I settled down to watch Dr Who  :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.
