Crunch home game - 6 pointer.....the Seasiders are in worst form than we are
I wouldn't fancy us having to beat Forest or Derby in our remaining ER matches
God knows what team our gormless, clueless manager will select this week....never found his best eleven all season
Please Brian lets have Murphy & Smith back in the line-up, maybe worth considering Chris Dawson for the squad as Redfern has been enthusing about the kid this week
When I saw who we were playing on Saturday, I thought to myself. Somewhat ironic, is this fixture - and in a couple of ways.
A few years back, during Bates' - the cheaper, the better - player acquisition philosophy, Blackpool were looked upon as an example to us all. Look what Blackpool have achieved, and without spending big money too. That is the model that we should follow. Let's be like them, just look at Blackpool.
Well, how ironic that turned out to be. Just look at Blackpool now, plummeting towards League One like a rock. Maybe not this season, but sooner rather than later.
And the second irony...we are just like Blackpool with our achievements this season.
Un Marcelo Bielsa, solo hay un Marcelo Bielsa. Gracias Marcello. Marsching on together.

He also highlighted Leicester as the way not to do it - splashing the cash for no reward. Hmmm

LUTV commentators used to do the same thing. Every time Leicester failed to win a game, they'd go on an on about how spending money didn't mean success.

Hardly surprising, as they were employed to follow the bates line in everything.
Bates, GFH, Cellino: Same s**t, different arseholes.
Not sure why peltier was pushed out he would be in my team selection he was playing regular early on in the season when we was winning. one of few players I'd maybe keep next season always put effort in.

Murphy & Smith have to return
Agree with you on Peltier, he gave us aerial presence at the back, our defence is weaker since his departure. I'd have played Pelts at CB alongside Pearce.
McDermott fell out with him I believe !

Yeh Austin has been disappointing this season its a shame because when he has a good game he is very good but he's not produced it enough. Maybe he he's not suited to center midfield role. Always wondered if he would make a good defender he has all the attributes to be a good defender?
