Human beings have more than two emotions. Situations can have more that two outcomes. No, I don't expect you to "spunk your load" as you so beautifully phrase it, but your own pathetic (your word again) need for floccinaucinihilipilification* is draining me.
I'm sick of seeing you bitch, gripe and whine about things you have no control over and know little about. Don't even attempt to say you know about Agard or anyone else, because you then show yourself up badly with your previous 'who?' comments. You're acting like a kid refusing to eat food because he hates it, when he's never tasted it before in his life. I'm not saying be joyous about them, I'm saying wait and see what they do before consigning them to the tip instead of weeping before they've even walked in the door. Is that too much to ask?
*I KNEW one day I'd get to use that word in context!
Once upon a time, we replaced the wonderful Mick Jones with an unknown called Joe Jordan who cost £15,000 from Morton. World Cup winner Jack Charlton was replaced by a nobody called Gordon McQueen from St. Mirren. Notice that neither of these came from a big name club.
None of this was noticed by our faux Danish friend who was still labouring under the misapprehension that Norman Hunter was a midfield player.
No-names and nobodies can be somebodies.
Bates, GFH, Cellino: Same s**t, different arseholes.
we miss at least two central defenders and the club has understood our needs with the buy of two good defender
Cooper has a good experience in Football League e Bellusci has a good experience in Serie A, italy under-21 team and a few years ago was considered a good play for the italian football future.
and then we need of a very strong striker and the club has bought one of best striker of Football League: "the fox in the box" Billy Sharp
since years ago i wished see Billy with our team and finally my dream is realized
if arrived also Agard, our strikers would perfect.
with new central defenders, Killock can leave in loan in league one or league two and with Sharp, we should release Morison or Hunt and leave Poleon in loan.
Goes back to this idea that we deserve to be in with a shout for success.
A) There is no guarantee that the big name players will get us pronmoted.
B) On recent history, which player with any ambition would have come to play for Leeds?
Agard, from what I've heard, will provide EXACTLY what we are looking for - pace and goals
I don't post very often but seriously it gets ridiculous reading some opinions.

To put it more coarsely, don't give a toss what tossers think.

Beckford was lower league, Becchio lower league abroad, Lambert lower league and ended up a at World Cup. Lower leagues have some good talent that should be looked at and signed up. Would rather lower league youth with potential then the likes of Hunt & Morison etc. Players like Holt & Danny Graham were lower league and until recently were scoring in the prem /championship.
A lot of Southampton players and Swansea players who now ply their trade in the top league in England started off in league 1 etc. No one's asking you to do a victory dance but perhaps just the tiny bit of optimism may be refreshing. Or would we rather see the same old age journeymen coming to the club, score 0 goals and then inevitably get abuse for being rubbish and a waste of money / wages.
Also, DDOS if you carry in with this relentless common sense and well thought out posts, people will end up falling out with you.

Have spoken to Agard's agent - "Deal's off, we basically couldn't agree personal terms." #lufc

According to Cellino, he "didn't like Agard's attitude." For whatever reason, it's all gone wrong. #lufc
Looks like we'll have to move to plan B - Nani, Cazorla or Messi please.

Maybe Cellino could smell his under arm . how many strikers do we need though ? i would go with a Smith and Sharp partnership up front and Poleon as an impact in the last 20 minutes if need be , you also have Morrison and Ajose
Think Agard was a good target because he could play wide and had pace. He is coming in to the club after a Premier League player took a wage cut to come here; I don't think Agard stood much chance getting more money.
As exciting as the multiple transfers are, I'd prefer if there was a couple of days where we weren't linked. We just signed three highly rated players in one day, then linked with Agard, who hasn't signed and now folk on twitter are on a downer about our pulling power.
I was skeptical about Cellino's transfer policy, but i'd rather have someone with Sharps attitude here, than someone with Agard's. That will mean missing out on a few promising players but we're not a club that can meet whatever demands players are asking for.
