Irrepressible !

Is he the most complete centre-forward we've had at Leeds in many years :luv:

being italian, i know the Serie B where Mirko has always played with more goals

in various teams where he worked left a good memory, and Ternana supporters are still sad for the his farewell at the human level and because the greaters goals in the last season for Ternana, were scored from Antenucci

i hope to see more goals as he did in Serie B

A technically clever forward, a joy to watch

Antenucci and Silvestri are the two signings I have been most impressed with.

Every time he touches the ball I expect something to happen. He has that excitement factor about him.

I'd include Doukara in that group too.

I rate Doukara too. Antenucci will score if the service is good but Doukara drives forward and makes things happen.

It certainly was mate, a truely wonderful pass, the whole move from when Bellusci intercepted the ball was sheer delight

When did we see a Leeds side scoring goals on the break as we have done this week ?

I would back to Delph/Beckford days

Did you see both the Bournemouth & Huddersfield games Dan ?

Antenucci looks a cut above every forward i've seen in many years

Unfortunately no, and that's why I won't comment on specifics regarding him or how good a player he has looked! I'm just saying it's early days, let's not jump to conclusions and pile the pressure on him....he has only scored 2 in 5, which obviously isn't a poor goals to game ratio but it's hardly world beating......he's 30 and is hardly a player for the future, he is probably already on a decline ability wise, and he's never really got out of Serie B - there's probably a reason for that...

Not saying he won't be a good player, just saying lets give him half a season at least before we do!

He's alot fitter than a certain 44 and also has a brain I'd compare him to teddy sheringham who's pace was his intelligence

While 30, he still has a bit of speed about him, in addition being 30, he bag of tricks is brimming and knows where to be at the right time, and has adjusted his timing to stay onside better. Early days, but looks a hell of lot more interesting than Ross at this point.

Well i've seen all his five appearances for LUFC & from what ive have seen he looks a real talent & will be a force to be reckoned with in this league. Apart from his two goals he was unlucky not to score another goal after a piece of striker's movement out of the top draw forcing a fine save from Smithies as he finger-tipped his shot onto a post, he has also had two assists, impressive start i would say. Class is permanent !
