Re: TOMA: The Radrizzani Chronicles
Because TOMA never sleeps. From the darkside (poster screen name: LUFC4EVR), fyi to start your week off fwiw...
A few thoughts from me on where we stand right now;
On MC;
He's leaving, I'm 99% sure about that now. Mostly due to his funding from the family trust was cut in Nov/Dec 15, and he won't put any of his savings into the club, but also because he realizes that this is heading nowhere without proper funding. MC's mad as a frog on Colombian marching powder, but he's no fool. Add to that the impending court case in Italy in late September, you can see there are clear motivations for cutting his losses and trying to get out on top.
As for the bidders;
I hear two very different versions right now, one is that Radrizzani+backers is in the lead, the other is that the UK based bidder is in the lead. Both are thought to have concluded DD, and now it's time for negotiations - as for trying to cipher out what's what, and who's right/wrong, it's near impossible without taking part in the inner circle, and we're not gonna get minutes from their meetings. What occurs behind doors, is normally very different to what's leaked as well, so even with the best sources close to the bidders, you are still going to have to rely on qualified guessing if you want to get an idea about what's going on. I've heard that some of the recent leaks actually come from within the club as well, so right now, my best guess is that the two bidders are being played against each other.
This will also mean that parts of what is leaked is pure smoke and mirrors, which makes it even harder to see what is actually going on. I'll do my best to add what input I get from various places after trying to cipher trough it to get as accurate an picture I can.
What I am certain about though, is that there are ongoing negotiations about the sale of the club.
As Gary said during TOMA 1 many times, patience is a virtue, and these things take time. Let's see how this develops in the coming days and weeks. I'll try and post what comes my way, as it comes my way.

Interesting read.
"Who’s next…sleeping giant?
There has been speculation in the media of Chinese interest in both Liverpool and Hull, which makes complete sense given the above. However, I believe the biggest prize in the English football league for the Chinese has got to be Leeds United."

Re: TOMA: The Radrizzani Chronicles
TTGM and Aidan Revie saying a deal to sell the majority share of the club is done, pending FL approval. More to come, if those sources hold any water for you.

Been quiet. Cellino quiet (uncharacteristically so). Those in the know, think the deal is being worked on, with NDAs in place, which is why Cellino hasn't said anything dumb for a while now.
Found this on the darkside....
Got info today from highly, genuinely credible source, who has long standing relationship with Leeds on a commercial basis.
chinese
ground done
money to throw at it
latter stages
Take the above with many grains of salt, as with anything TOMA-related.

Re: TOMA: All quiet on the TOMA front
So am I on one level. I've never disliked MC, just wanted him to stabilise somewhat, but, although we have brought in a few classy players I think we need more to have a genuine chance of going up. Our goal-scoring record is woeful and it's probably why, this season, we're not doing as well as we could be. I don't see the games apart from goal clips, so am relying on a few good posters' efforts on match day to make sense of the season.faaip wrote:

If Wood is as good as most of the forum think he is goals won't be a problem going forward. We can rest easy there.

I've just checked back and we've had more NDA's than we've scored goals in the last two seasons

For me the problem is not Wood but the lack of goals coming from other players.faaip wrote:If Wood is as good as most of the forum think he is goals won't be a problem going forward. We can rest easy there.

Difficult for Antonsson to be effective playing 5 minutes a game.
