Ayling improved as the game went on but I lost count how many times both Ayling & Harrison lost possession down the right. Ayling's first six passes were woeful

I missed the first ten minutes, so anything that happened during this time, didn't happen.

Nowhere near our best last night, at times we were pedestrian even though we had so much possession against one of the poorest Hull teams I've seen in a long time. Had Alioski (the less I say about his display the better) & Douglas put their chances away the game would have been over by half-time, instead we had make do with young Roberts making a goal for himself then hope we'd keep a clean sheet as we huffed & puffed through the game struggling to put the game to bed.

Positives

Three points
We are top of the league
Pontus immense, class act
Phillips doing his England chances no harm
Klich easily the best of our midfielders
Three in five for young Roberts

Negatives

Lots of possession but no fluency to our game
The amount of times Ayling & Harrison gave the ball away down the right flank
Apart from twice our moves broke down when Alioski was on the ball
Alioski offside from a goal-kick
We looked worse when Saiz was subbed
Dallas & Forshaw were poor when they came on
Douglas injury, hope it's not serious

His tackling wasn't much better.

Luke certainly wasn't at his best as was the case with half the team

Missed that but if true then it would be an incorrect decision by the linesman as you cannot be offside from a goal kick - unless you meant from a goalkeeper's kickout rather than an actual goal kick?
