Totally agree Norfolk.
It would have been a sickener to throw 2 points away.
Well done BPF you proved the doubters wrong, me included.
Some very good performances in particular from from Cooper, Phillips, Forshaw and Douglas. Saiz and Clarke have to start the next game. Alioski's dive was embarrassing.
I am drained.

A team with character, down to the bare bones and putting in a fight, against a team that tried hard and made it tough, some experienced players in their side, far from perfect, but it’s a cold wet Tuesday night, we all know what normally happens

I thought it was one of his poorer games as well.

Very happy Cjay :)

Delighted Bielsa made the 2 subs at half time and it changed the game.

Some dodgy moments but hey ho.

Well played BPF (slap Douglas round the head).

Not sure why Saiz was moaning at Clarke . . Stay onside you moron.

Reading were alright tbf.

Correct subs, clean sheet, 4 wins in 6, pen saved, Clarkey doing well

I've been championing this young man all season whilst some others were giving him a hard time. He is very young and in a very prominant position (goalkeeper) in the team. So, so pleased for him this evening, he came in and showed what he can do. Let's now give our young goalie some support.....

Douglas was sky MOTM

BPF - 8 - Top pen save rounds off good performance

Dallas 7 - Dodgy in defence at times but a good game going forward and the goal
Cooper 9 - Captain Class tonight
Phillips- 7 - good enough game
Douglas - 8 - Was a 9 but then the pen ...sorry bad challenge that

Forshaw - 7 - Quiet tonight I thought, did nothing wrong though
Baker - 5 - Could have cost us 2/3 times but maybe not playing at this level for a while is showing. Looked rusty
Hernandez - 7 - held up the ball well, always threatened again looked happier with Saiz on
Klich - 8 - Total class and looks nonchalant doing it, tired again from mid second
Alioski - 5 - Been a while since he looked quality, maybe needs to be playing on the right but maybe needs to sit on the bench and recharge for a while

Roofe - 9 -Great performance, the runs and the hold up play was sublime. Twice denied by reflex saves by a keeper on fire and could have had a hat trick any other day, added an assist to his stats though

Saiz - 8 - Looking back to his best
Clarke - 8 - What a talent we have here, slight miscommunication with Saiz on one break which I get, but a constant threat. We maybe trying to hide him until the window closes
Shackleton - 7 - Another high ceiling kid, we are blessed right now. Dangerous and love the positions he gets in

I agree with this, he was hovering around offside for most of the run, Play that ball too early and it loses the impact. Clarke was about to play it at the perfect time but Saiz had gone a yard offside. I was muttering hold, hold, hold..pass now...at that point saiz had gone too far and Clarke had to try something else..it's up to the runner to stay onside

massive 3 points. pen nearly cost us but brilliant save from BPF. very sloppy last 15 mins we really should kill these teams off.
not at our best tonight but substitutions start of the second half made a big impact and fully deserved the points.
baker was s**t and the less said about the arse bandit the better.

Alioski does not deserve his place .
He can frustrate the life of me and cannot time his runs well enough.
Looks good yes , a hard worker yes gives some width but really poor for me.

Still disagree, Clarke has to play that through to Saiz when he’s in full flow and early. If Saiz holds it kills his momentum and he can’t run on to it with the same impetus to burst through. Clarke should have slid him in sooner, fine margins but I’m siding with Saiz on this one, reaction was unwarranted though.....but typically Saiz

He produced some great crosses but defensively I thought he looked a bit ropey tonight as well, thought it was just a good job he didn’t have more to do at the back.

Roofe my MOTM, not really that close for me, a masterclass in leading the line and the movement is second to none

Sky always have their MOTM sorted too early, they would have known he won before he gave away the pen. He had a good game outside of that

Just about got my breath back from that! Today all about getting the win rather than the scoreline, we showed a lot of mettle and handled the pressure when it was on. We've shown we can win with swagger, now we showed we can grind out the tough results. That could be a season defining moment for us. Delighted for BPF, he deserved his night in the sun, hopefully that will get his confidence back that he lost after the NI games. First half we were so slow and boring, thank God Marcelo did what we all wanted and brought Saiz and Clarke on at HT and not the 60th minute, that gave us a huge lift. I'm all for starting both, but in games like this we need changers from the bench, otherwise we'd have had nowt to bring on. Disappointed in Alioski, we don't want that nonsense at the club. Hopefully that's the last we see of diving now.

Motm Coops for me. Won every tackle and didn't put a foot wrong. Stepped up to plate.

That was my take on it to.

Clarke had every right to hold, by the time the time was right Saiz had strayed and he had no choice but to keep going.

Didnt like the reaction from Saiz, of all people to moan when someone doesnt pass.
