I don't want him on the wing but I would like to see both Roofe and Bamford tried sometime to see if they mesh.

Well, don’t know what to say - superb
Not the best performance but real togetherness and a willingness to run to the final whistle gets you a long way.

Okay lads, you've proved that you can win games from the brink of defeat, there's no need to do it again ;)

Looks like MB is sympathizing with the Blackburn manager at the end ...

Generally can't believe that happened. I don't mind admitting I had tears in my eyes when Roofe put away the winner. This team just keeps on surprising me, just when I think it's over.
That said, drawing or even losing that would have been disastrous. As with Villa, we conceded the only shots we faced, Bolton didn't have a shot on target, so BPF hasn't made a save in 3 games. Then again, it'd have been 1-1 if they didn't score.
Hope we can get Heaton on loan in January.

Re: Leeds Utd v Blackburn Rovers Match Thread
After a comfortable first-half we conspired to create our own downfall firstly giving away a stupid penalty, then we gifted a poor Blackburn side the lead. We spent too much time choosing the wrong options, taking one touch too many allowing the Blackburn defence to defend far too easily. Once the clock was ticking against us we finally woke up to the fact we needed to deliver the ball into the danger areas far quicker.....result two goals providing an unbelievable finish sending our fans into sheer ecstasy at the death. Great celebrations, best I've seen at ER in a while
Positives
Unbelievable comeback
Spirit & resilience to keep going even when we're not playing well
Three points
Jansson's outstanding display, international/premiership class
Roofe's goals
Pablo's pinpoint cross for Roofe's superb header
Another commanding performance from Kalvin Phillips playing the centre-back role
We played some lovely football in a comfortable first-half
Negatives
We need a new keeper
Ayling's stupid challenge
Missed chances
Losing to a poor Rovers side going into added-on-time after gifting them both goals
Some woeful passing from our midfield
Too much fannying about around the box
Yet another poor free-kick from Douglas
Ratings

05 - Ayling
10 - Jansson
09 - Phillips
05 - Douglas
06 - Forshaw
07 - Alioski

Re: Leeds Utd v Blackburn Rovers Match Thread
I was at the game. We battered them should have been 2 or 3 before the break. BPF needs a break out of the team for a few games. I rate him but has cost us a couple of games. I thought Pablo was excellent some of his passing beyond belief but did give it away at times. Forshaw was quality and plays that deep role well. Roofe did well to get that header cause there CBS are big buggers. Blackburn offered very little today. Even my daughter has changed her tune and now likes us, says we are a good side. She lives alioski and the switch to the right has been very good.
