Hi Folks
Leeds face their third game in less than a week as they welcome Hull City to Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
Hull are one of the current in form teams having collected 21 points from a possible 30 beating Preston, Swansea, Brentford, QPR and West Brom during their resurgence.
Although Nigel Atkins men sit in 15th place, they are only 8 points away from the play off's.
Having won seven on the trot, Leeds will be keen to beat their all time winning league record which is 9, set in 1931-32. (Leeds all time winning run in all comps is 10, set in the 99-00 season.)
Leeds are still without Bamford, Izzy Brown, Berardi, Dallas and Cooper.

I've actually put Hull to win 2 - 1 in the predict the score thread. Hope I'm wrong of course, but Hull are in good form.
Yes they are, and local derbies are unpredictable.
I'll be most disappointed if we don't get a win...

Douglas played yesterday. I missed the game due to a family meal. Did Douglas pick up an injury yesterday?
Not that I'm aware of.. my original post should have been Dallas, not Douglas !
That's why I deleted it..
Hull in good form, Leeds in better form, both will be tired, I’d like to see Pablo sit this one out, looked a bit tired, he more than anyone needs to have his game time managed, Ayling to CB with pontus, Shackleton to RB, Philips forshaw and Klich in midfield, 2-0 Leeds
I realised I was dyslexic when I went to a toga party dressed as a goat..
Not buying the argument to drop Pablo as I am sure everyone will be a bit tired but he was still able to put over a pinpoint cross for the goal in the 95th minute. Might be physically tired but to be still able to produce that quality at that moment is why we need him. Ideally we need a really comfy win and the luxury to give him a rest for 30 minutes or so - but we never do things easy!

I've pretended to support a team that's been crap for most of my life as part of a long term plan

Villa, QPR, Sheff Utd & Wigan were all in very good form until they confronted Leeds but didn't conquer the mighty whites

Can't afford to rest any of our players until the QPR cup game
Pablo is indispensable, involved in 46 of our last 94 goals
Phillips has been superb as one of our main CB's v Villa & Blackburn

Ayling is no CB
Can’t play players in every game, squad rotation is essential at busy times in the year.
Ayling is a Potential CB, has played there this season, Philips also isn’t a CB but is doing well there, only way to rest Pablo is to move Philips back to DM with Forshaw and Klich moving forward, rather than rest him and bring in baker.
Can you see Pablo playing Saturday and New Year’s Day?
I realised I was dyslexic when I went to a toga party dressed as a goat..
For me Pablo is a special case, older than most, needs to be protected a bit, four games in quick succession is too much for him, I’m sure the club have gps data and can make a call if he needs a rest or not, was more interested in seeing what people would do to if he was rested, I like that team, 3 at the back gives Philips room to push up a little when we have the ball, can’t see us not playing Ayling though, says a lot about Baker if he doesn’t get a start, with a busy schedule, I think he’ll be gone soon
