This won't be popular but I lay this one firmly at the feet of Bielsa it was obvious from the Hull game, that Ayling and Forshaw were off the pace, Phillips is no CB, yet he continued with them.

If you think we're tired then that chase back by 6 of our players late ina game we're losing says otherwise ...complete smokescreen this burn out theory. The problem is most of our defence is injured and now we have a suspension too

Reminds me a bit of our match v Millwall last season when we went from 2-0 down and down to 10 men before going 3-2 up and then seemed to run out of steam. Think it is a mentality shift when you go in front after working so hard with 10 men, you think the job is done and the energy levels just drop.

Blackburn beat West Brom, Brentford drew with Norwich.

Sheff United beat Wigan 3-0. Boro and Derby drew 1-1.

Still top by two points, goal difference down to +16. Sheffield United are 4 points behind on +17 and West Brom 5 points behind on +20.

So we lose again but still at the top of the pile. Week off from the league now to rest and regroup.

FT - did the hard work with 10 men and got ourselves in front but we just couldn’t organise ourselves defensively after that and left acres of space at the back. Games defined by the non-sending off for Forest in the first half and then KPs reckless lunge. We played some lovely stuff going forwards but our plan for defending is based about starving the other team of posession rather than having great defenders so when we have to concede more of the ball due to having 10 men we will struggle.

Blaming Bielsa for this.

He should have let the club sign another cb, he should have put his foot down with Vieira.

We are now seeing what happens when your not clinical enough and your defence is week.

2 1v1s for Roofe, you have to score.

I'm worried for us now, 10 men or not we have 0 depth in key areas and players playing who arent good enough.

Average but well coached players will be found out in the end, quality always shines through.

You do have a point ges. But Philips going in recklessly in the first half didn't help. Our players had to work doubly hard for a lot of the game....we probably could have got something from this game had he not
