What a let down on Sunday. After being so excited about Leeds being back, i ended the day pretty deflated, thinking is this what i really need? The next morning i was looking forward to Fulham. 8-)

In a nutshell i think we will beat Fulham. :) The lads, for whatever reason were alittle lethargic for me against Cardiff. Cardiff defended well against our impotent attack and made the most of our mistakes scoring 2 great goals. I'm sure the coaches will have been passing around the smelling salts in training and we won't witness another (all we have to do is turn up) type performance.

You have come this far lads, dig in and lets get this done. :gold:

We have to keep Mitro quiet. He is the top scorer in the league, with 23 goals so far this season.
Mitro is an old-fashioned centre forward who may bully our goalkeeper at crosses.

It's a shame they removed the bin Laden crowdie.

Apparently Leeds are testing out the sound system this afternoon with 'Marching On Together' blasting around & beyond the stadium

Down here it's supposed to storm, not sure what the weather forecast is like in Leeds ...

Expected squad

Full Leeds United squad: Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Barry Douglas, Ben White, Liam Cooper, Ian Poveda, Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski, Tyler Roberts, Stuart Dallas, Helder Costa, Pablo Hernandez, Jack Harrison, Kalvin Phillips, Elia Caprile, Gaetano Berardi, Kamil Miazek, Pascal Struijk, Robbie Gotts, Leif Davis, Mateusz Klich, Jamie Shackleton, Jordan Stevens.

Just goes to show much I don't rate Barry Douglas as I didn't even realised he was missing from our squad v Cardiff

Back-up is very average :(

If we lose today there will only be 5pts between the 4 teams at the top, 7pts between 5 teams if Florists win. The pack are closing in - come on Leeds!

Losing is not an option today. TODAY is the day we make a statement - we are not the brittle Leeds from last season, we are not going to buckle under the pressure, we are staying put and going up !!

For me the issue is not Bamford, it is the lack of options off the bench.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

Pretty non-existent bench with no game-changers on it whatsoever, poor recruitment to blame.

Brentford have a bigger squad with more scoring options all over the park than the Mighty Leeds.

You are dead right.
After Project Restart, the Premier League teams have been picking up injuries left, right and centre. When the fixtures start to pile up and we are playing every 3 or 4 days, then our weak bench could disadvantage us.

If we win today it piles pressure on WBA imo because they haven’t scored in 4 with 3 X 0-0 and a 0-1 to Wigan. With another round of games Tuesday/Wednesday Brentford could be within 2 points of the Baggies who face a trip to Sheff Wednesday while the Bees are away at Reading. I believe 4 points from our next 2 is acceptable

We win today & all three challengers would be under pressure with seven games to go

3 points clear of WBA
8 points clear of Brentford
10 points clear of Fulham

Actually nor did I. Was he injured?
I personally think Shackleton, Davis and Stevens are all good enough for the first team but in the case of Davis and Stevens they just lack Championship experience.
I've not seen enough of Poveda to make my mind up but he does look extremely lightweight.
