Multi universe theory..I agree btw. We score from the Roberts chance then the games stops goes back for a kick off and the ball is never in the same place again. The game will absolutely run differently, we don't get the same chances, we certainly don't score the same goals..

Great performance.

Stoke may not be the best side but they have drawn with Brentford and beat Fulham and WBA this season.

We did to Stoke what we should have done far more this season, shown that when it clicks we are the best side in the league.

Great stuff all round, who knew Coops could finish.

What annoys me is Brentford have 7/9 games kicking off before us. They've had it easy, never having to follow everyone else with all the pressure on. Same happened last season with the Blunts too, 4/5 last games kicked off before us.

It can work both ways. Brentford have got to be pretty demoralised at twice winning their matches and then seeing WBA and then us win both of ours and the gap not closing. They now have to deal with the pressure that them failing to win would make it incredibly hard for them to close the gap with games running out. Against Charlton they got edgy and needed a soft penalty (it was a penalty but, similarly to Stoke last night, it was a silly penalty to give away). Pressure is definitely on them now to win and even if they do we are still in the position where we can afford to draw or lose thus we have the freedom to go out to win rather than last season when we had no luxury and had to always try to at least match Sheff Utd's result.

Watching the highlights I noticed that, at the moment Klich made contact with the ball on the first-half penalty, there were five Stoke players in the box.

I wonder if the ref would have giver Klich a second bite at the apple had he missed.

Stoke may not be the best side but they have drawn with Brentford and beat Fulham and WBA this season.

Typical Championship for you. Like when people were aghast after we drew against Luton yet they had beaten Brentford. Not much difference between most teams in this league. We are head and shoulders the best team unless we fail to take our chances - which has unfortunately happened too often this season. We have the capability to thrash any team in this division yet also the ability to lose to anyone when we don't take our chances.

Bielsa has shown what can be achieved with a team with mainly british players. All my life I wanted to see Leeds play the way we play now but wondered if it simply wasn't possible with british players given how poorly the british teams did at international level when facing the top teams. We always had a chance against them but they played so much better than us and could control the ball and keep possession. I would much rather watch Leeds play than England.

So would i. I switched off watching England completely for a few years. Russia was our big chance and we blew it against a supposed tired Croatia. Bielsa, the best coach England never had? Maradona's hand of God may have put paid to that, but Gods other fair hand lands in Leeds.

its because if you don't play "the England way" the press smell blood after each loss.
