A slightly better second half but well beaten by a better side on the night. A side that has beaten both Many City and Arsenal already this season.
How I wish we had Vardy.
I'm not going to get too down, this is the Premier League and we have to work out a way to play against teams like Leicester.

No issues. Good to get this lesson early in the season. We were also without 4 key players; the 3 new signings plus KP. And we controlled the second half but Leicester had very fresh legs in Maddison and that lad from Turkey.

Never mind, deserved loss against one of the better teams in the league. Bit of a wake up call to those who think we have the quality in depth to challenge for Europe. Would've been a different game had we Rodz and Raph to call upon, but hey ho. On to the next game and our next 3 points.

I don't think the scoreline reflected the game, but they were ruthless and dangerous on the break. Pablo chance goes in and it's 2-2, hopefully soon we'll start getting the luck we haven't had so far. Taking Pablo off at 2-1 for Roberts was saying it was game over tbh, now wonder Pablo was fuming. But no need to panic. As with the Wolves game, it was far too long between games. Leicester played twice since we last played, which is why they were fresher and we looked making match sharpness.

We’ve just signed Koch and Llorente for a combined total in excess of £30m.....I suspect you will be disappointed.

Only way to beat a team who execute our weakness-exploiting tactics with such efficiency is with superior quality. We're a ways off from that but give it another season or two.

NorfolkWhite wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 9:55 pm But you’re watching the game with no idea what’s happening, even worse when you’re in the ground (if we ever get back) - easily time for a goal the other end with the length of time to get a decision from VAR that the ref needs to look at it.....takes way too long.
For the record I don't like var, I hate it...

Just think it came to the right decision there...the ref let an insane amount of things go this game, no idea how he didn't think that was a foul

Ayling in cover as well and Berardi when he gets back. About zero chance we'll be signing any cbs anytime soon!

Just said the same, way too long - didn’t even give a decision just told the ref to have a look.

Bringing in Raphinha at 2-1 would've made such a difference.

Agreed, clear pen. Clumsy, rushed tackle by Klich though it looked to me in the replays he skidded a bit on the surface.

As has been said many a time, its a game of thin margins...if Bamford had put that header away in first couple of minutes it could have been a totally different first half, but having said that we were poor all over the park in the first half, not too worried cos they will be top 4/6 and we have plenty of mediocre teams to come, also imo Poveda is too lightweight !

Not worth pointing fingers, we learn and move on. Those players who were poor will know and Bielsa will go through with each in gruelling detail.

Palace next and we need to up our game. Reality check for players and fans and only better will do.

Also i think taking Pablo off was wrong, for Raphinha or Rodrigo maybe but not Roberts.

Against a packed defence you need guile, Roberts hasnt got that.

Dont have an issue with being beaten by a better side on the day but when your own individual sloppy play contributes thats frustrating.

Why? Poveda kept the ball better than a lot of older, heavier players. You don't need to be a unit when you've got quick feet like he has. He was up against very experienced defenders...

Much better second half, well until Marcelo decided to take off Hernandez. He wasn't having his best game Pablo but he was growing into the game when we were on top and in control. I am surprised because no one reads the game like him, he looked unhappy coming off and rightly so imo.

Credit to Leicester for a lesson in how to be Clinical. First foray forward second half and they score from good work by their substitutes. When they are on song (Citeh game) you can see how they are a handful going forward. Man City, Arsenal and now Us they are no mugs away from home.

Is anybody else disappointed when we get a corner? Its wasted moments in the game as far as we are concerned. We hardly ever score. Dallas the pick of the players for me. I know its the way we play but it amazes me how we can have so much of the ball and yet our CF is never in the game.

Agreed think he deserves to start over Costa until Raphinha comes back.

I’d have liked to see Roberts go up top, wasn’t Paddy’s night.

Only player making tackles tonight around the box tonight, only player really pushing us forward, only player anticipating passes and cutting them out. Some great control of dropping balls around our box too..3/4 lovely distance passes in a difficult wind..I can forgive him a mis timed challenge on a wet pitch with 2 minutes to go and 3-1 down..He just never stops playing
