Yes, I was expecting more from Casilla. I don't consider him an Non-person like some and he's an experienced keeper who's been with us for two seasons.

It'll be interesting to see what Bielsa says after that because I have no idea what the teams objective was. If it was to rest players why put Harrison and Raphinio on? I actually don't think the players knew what formation they were supposed to be playing, but that doesn't excuse their disgraceful performance. There is nothing to take from that game apart from now knowing investment is desperately needed in the squad.

Maybe this was all part of a cunning Bielsa plan to show Radrizzani, and some of these players themselves, that all have a long way to go to meet the standard required in the Premier League.

To think that Davis has been on the bench in many recent games as an option for the defence only to see today that he would be destroyed, and the team with him, if he was called upon in a league game. He’s young so he may yet progress to contribute. The same cannot be said for Casilla. They are taking the p1ss having him on the bench. If anything happens to Meslier we are ruined if they even consider him as his replacement.

The final insult today was Philips picking up a ridiculously soft yellow card, moving him to six in total now.

Sorry i dont think young footballers should be excused.

Poor vs Hull and shite vs Crawley, youth is no excuse.
Correct mate, if you're good enough you're old enough.

I've been shouting for Shacks and Davis to be in the first team, but I won't after that :zip:

The yellow card won't count in the PL.

Almost more like a pick up game, throw on a bunch of folks and go play. Plan was to give minutes to some for a half for fitness and have kids as fillers for the rest of the time. And to top it all, why not move around and play where you want.

Not usually in this mindset after 16 years of mid level crap. But am really miffed this time.

At one time it would have done but they're classed as different competitions now, that's why he's suspended for Saturday and not today.

Bielsa gets it right more times that wrong.

He has been a great fit with Leeds both on and off the pitch.

He will take todays defeat hard though, and will agonise over the changes he made today.
Re-requoted. Well said ges and Ian

Absolutely. I think Bielsa would definitely have witnessed an adverse reaction from them had they been present.

The subs made no sense. If Cooper is injured why play him? If he plays for u23s, then why not leave him on? Why sub off Struijk and Rodrigo, as both need game time?
