For the first time in God knows how long (early 70’s?) an excellent April.
We really don’t do April.

So frustrating. Scum were there for the taking, easily our worst performance of the season. Far too many passengers not up for the fight, it wouldn't have been like that with fans there.

Completely agree. The inclusion of Roberts the anti-leeds player has ruined the passing identity in attack but it also makes leeds a better defensive team and allows them to rest a bit. But it's not nearly as entertaining to watch.

In truth it was pretty turgid to watch. Far too many players taking more touches than necessary going forwards and then losing possession trying to make a difficult pass or providing a telegraphed pass. Transition from defence to attack was very erratic.
Defensively we were resolute but not very assured, At least manure were just as bad.
Costa and Harrison were not at the races. Costa looked more of a threat on the left, but still very poor throughout. Our bench is bereft of game changers. Klich is a pale shadow of his pre-Xmas form.
Thankfully Phillips was everywhere and I thought Meslier was rock solid in what he had to do.
All in all a point was a good result considering how poor we were.

Well said mate, I completely agreeiscius wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 2:55 pm For those who think Bielsa only plays one way hasn't watched recent matches. The inclusion of Roberts and a greater emphasis on team midfield structure over countering shows a different picture. Leeds are now a more sophisticated mean in managing matches. There is a plan B and C now. Leeds now play like a legitimate top 6 team.in the EPL after one year.

Spot on. Ball movement was slow perhaps because MB as keep them to not lose possession in defensive 3rd, he hated that.DDB220 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 3:13 pm In truth it was pretty turgid to watch.
