Psychologically that point is huge. We need to stop fading out of games though like we did again today otherwise we will be in serious danger

Justice done.
They had a decent ten minute spell when they scored other than that we battered them.
It’s alright saying we ran out of ideas, they just defended well and tried to get us on the break.

A point is better than nothing but it wasnt enough, not with our next 4 fixtures.

You cant be that soft, we still dropped 2 points from a winning position, as i said before that stat is one of the ones that most relegated teams have.

Bamford papering over the cracks much like Raph's pen.

Agreed, if we play like that in the next few games, we are going to get seriously owned. One thing for sure, it's going to be one helluvah hard winter ahead of us.

A draw ain't great but a defeat would have been an absolute disaster. Five mad minutes cost us big time.
Brentford were horrible and niggly all game and frustrated us by defending deep.
My stream froze just as we got the corner after the keeper flapped at it so I still haven't seen Paddy's goal.
It's another game without defeat if nothing else.
The biggest worry is how injured is Kalvin.

Happy with a point? Or genuinely concerned about that 2nd half performance? We could have been on real trouble there!
No you cant fade out of games like we are, you arent going to be able to keep rescuing points in the dying moments.

Brentford have lost 2-1 and 3-1 to Norwich and Burnley, we should not be happy with scraping a draw n the last seconds.

Klich and Harrison should be nowhere near the side

More worrying is how little we create. Chuck as many stats as you like but we hardly ever look threatening.

Feels like a terrible result to me. Totally lost the plot in the second half, especially when Phillips went off. Should have had 3 points there, they offered little.

Goin into a tough few games now and although Bamford and Ayling are back we now have Struijk, Koch, Cooper and potentially Phillips out.

And Cresswell still won't get a chance!

Twice the numbers on target, 5 times the corners. Yet we seem to concede every chance the opposition have, while we need 50 to score.

He'll probably play Roberts at CB.

Take Coops out of the is one thing, take Phillips out aswell is too much for this side. In the end its credit to the lads for sticking at it because i never felt like we would score in that second half. I would have preferred like for like with Coops, but once Phillips went off i had this sense of dred come over me like the game was over, and lets be honest without Paddy sticking his knee (was it his knee) we never looked like creating anything. Tbf i can't remember Brentford having that many shots on target themselves. Overall a deserved point but if Phillips stays on the pitch i think we win it.

Lets let games now begin.

It was quite illuminating to observe the ebb and flow of the comments during the game.

When we we winning there was a deathly silence and an absence of moaning.

We go behind, and all of a sudden there is a spate of comments condemning our play, suddenly everyone has found a voice. Attacking our players and the desisions of the manager... almost pleased that the dire predictions are coming true. Two. injury substitutings put us under tremendous pressure... what you gonna do about a turn of fate like that?

Lord Bamford equalises and i would like to hear some praise. I was under no illusion that it would be a tough game... and I was happy we kept fighting until the end and salvaged a point.

Now to win the next 4 games with a makeshift team🥰🤩😍😘

Agree.

Most worrying thing is Brentford are poor, they offered almost nothing and gave Norwich their first win since dinosaurs walked the earth few weeks back, they arent a good team.

We cant complain about our injuries when they didnt have Toney and Raya (two of their best players)

As you say lost total control again and still think MB constantly over complicating things is a problem. Why make 3 or 4 positional changes when you make a sub, its confusing for the fans it must be for the players.
