Bert unlike last season would never give the top 6/7 teams a run for their money without KP PB LC.
But he 100% would've kept us up without them, he showed what he can get out of this shite with his 3-3 v Villa just 4 weeks ago, and he would've beat the lesser teams than Villa.
This new guy is nowhere fcking near the tactical genius that is Bert. We're fcked, and even if we avoid relegation, we're fcked.

He doesn’t want to be here atm, his face says it all - Jesse shouldn’t play him if he won’t put 100% in on Sunday, but I suppose that might get him the sack

Marsch has to change the lineup now, no more copying Bielsa and when you have fit centre backs for god sake play them. Looks like Dallas will be back at left back for the rest of the season. James on the left and Gelhardt upfront. Rodrigo shouldt even be in the match day squad

At least Watford lost, but Burnley have 2 games in hand and are only 2 points behind.
Is it worth a stake on Leeds to stay up and Burnley dropping a division @ 11/10?
Leeds needed a result tonight but were spanked without reply. It's not over until after the Brentford game, but it's not looking good for cheap Leeds and what a good job Radz, Orta and Kinnear have done.
All hail Jessy as we March into the Championship to begin a nice long new chapter at LS11.

This at home was 3 dropped, but more important, it was a non contest.

What we lack in that team are characters and leaders who can get a grip of the team on the pitch. What we have are players who either disappear, fall to pieces or sulk.
People bemoan Cooper but he is the biggest loss to the team because he sets the standard on the pitch. Whilst we weren’t pulling up trees with him fit - It is not coincidence that we have been largely s**t week in week out since he was injured.

People hate the 49ers, but Radz and Kinnear had their chance in the PL and they threw it away. Bring on the 49ers I say.

That was diabolical. No two ways about it, we're f4cked. I don't profess to know the solution, but I know it's time for me to just accpet we're likely down at the end of season.
Tbh, I'll probably be giving watching the remaining games a swerve. Getting sad news today about a close relative, and all the terrible goings-on in Ukraine, if I can't get a lift from watching our team play, then I can do without the added disappointment won top of everything else right now in life.

Same thing
Marsch OUT
Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.
Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

No.
You tried to absolve Bielsa of any blame.
I pointed out yes his system did help cover the limitations until it didnt and it actually heightened them (hence the goals we conceded).

So drop a winger a forward and a wide defender and bring in a CB.CHAPELALLMAN wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 9:57 pm What needs to happen now is for Harrison, Rodrigo and Firpo to be permanently dropped and the likes of Creswell brought in. We are down if those three keep starting.

Still feel the same tonight Leon?
Why would the performance in one defeat fuel such confidence? You wouldn’t have any nay saying on Saturday even though we lost, I just couldn’t get my head round it.
We need a win on Sunday, and suddenly the points are more important that the performance.

Re: Leeds Utd v Aston Villa Match Thread - Live on Amazon Prime
The bottom line is that our recruitment for 2 years has been s**t
s**t CB's, s**t LB, Poor with Rodrigo, poor wingers (Harrison and James), No CM's
Blame on the board/Orta.
Nothing in January when we were crying out for it.
Lots of lightweights with little character or ability to make a difference
Bielsa was also I think to blame for refusing some signings that we needed.
Unless we can rely on Kalvin and Paddy to work miracles, it looks like we're down
It then depends how savvy we are at bringing in effective players with our new DOF

Season was lost in the summer when we did f**k all and tried to wing it. We had another chance in January, but again tried to wing it. Now we've got what we deserved.

Chins up lads, we've lost 6 on the bounce and still not in bottom 3. That's as positive as I can be and doubt it will improve. Phillips or Cooper won't make any difference , it'll be far too late by the time they come back. Lucky to get 30 mill each for our star players in the summer. I wrote a poem...

And you tried to blame him for everything that you didnt like or didnt understand.
Tonight we had 14 headless chickens running around the pitch.
No plan. No clue. No hope.
