KP and Cooper have barely featured under Marsch

Firpo has missed 3 of 5 matches

LLorente missed 2 of 5

Bielsa never had anything like that Wolves match either.

Marsch has had it bad with injures to and has gotten more points in the same games than Bielsa did, deserves credit.

And Bielsa had a choice regarding squad size, he choose to run a small one and paid for it, Marsch had no choice.

He was.

I think that not having to mark a player has set him free to use his creativity and skills. He was just used wrongly by Bielsa.

Haven't been able to watch the game yet (have it recorded) but on the topic of Rodrigo, I am glad we're finally able to see his quality and that those sending pelters is way beforehand can now see he is quality and reign it back in a bit. He is integral to our run-in.

In answer to a comment.

Roughly only the following players were available in whatever order in MB’s last few games:

Meslier
Dallas Ayling Struijk Firpo
Koch
Forshaw Rodrigo
Raphinha Harrison
James

Subs:
Klaesson
Cresswell
Bate
Roberts
McCarron ? or Kenneh??
Klich
Gelhardt
Hjelde
Summerville

(I think that’s about it for fit players, possibly Shackleton and Llorente but both were injured most of the time)

The last few matches with an international break included:

Meslier
Ayling. Llorente Cooper Dallas
Forshaw Klich
Raphinha Rodrigo Harrison
James

Bamford missing but had contributed last few games

Subs:
Klaesson
Cresswell
Koch
Phillips
Gelhardt
Struijk
Summerville
Greenwood
Kenneh

If Bate, Shackleton & Hjelde aren’t injured, they could have been included but we’re not chosen.

This is only my opinion but I think the squad and more importantly the starting positions over the last few games is stronger.

Just seen the free kick,Meslier might as well as gone and sat down somewhere.Free kicks like that always fascinate me when some struggle with penalties,be interested to see what would happen if there was no wall ?

Phillips & Cooper came into play in Marsch's fifth game with Kalvin only getting 25 minutes.

Just got back home after today's match.

I think the draw was a fair result. Great to see Kalvin on the pitch again!

How the hell did Llorente not score that header??!!

Stunning free kick from Ward Prowse, it was going in before he began his run up.

Decent point, but we're still very much in the relegation dogfight, imho.

Good highlights from young Jack

Unsure how Jack manages to cover so much of the game

I don’t see Bielsa hate. I think many of us think the world of him, but were frustrated by the fact he didn’t seem to realise we were in a relegation dogfight, where even goal difference could prove important.
Clearly Bielsa is a better manager than Marsch. But I think Marsch is already proving a better manager for the situation we currently face. We now have a manager who will change tactics when we need to hang on for that vital point.

Something that seems to have gone under the radar in the last six months. MB suppose
did more research on the opposition than any other manager … so why did our tactics never change, whether we played Liverpool or Burnley?

Well said. I loved Bielsa but I think March is doing better than Bielsa would do at the minute

Rodrigo was outstanding today.
Rodrigo is now able to play his natural game. Having to man mark an opposition player clearly unsettled him in Bielsa ‘s system. Personally, I still am not convinced he is suited to the premiership. He is a bit like Klich - he thrives in space and given time on the ball but struggles when he is closed down. His first touch is very inconsistent.
Having said that he may profit from having KP who will identify Rodrigo’s clever runs and capitalise on them with his passing ability. No other player in the side has anywhere near KP’s range of passing.
