He looked good going forward in limited glimpses last season.

Always a question mark over his defending, but barely playing over the past 12 months can't have helped him.

I can't believe Schmidt is featuring in our build up to our Premier League campaign.

Schmidt may or.may not be good enough but seems a bit unfair to judge a player based on pre season friendlies yet players who have previously struggled in the Premier League of which we have many and a manager in a similar boat are given the benefit of the doubt.

Should be remembered last time Bogle played in the Premier League he was according to Sheffield United fans absolutely stinking defensively.

And both Schmidt and Bogle last season hardly ever had to defend last season.

Not sure why Schmidt is judged to be out of his depth based on a few friendlies but previous Premier league strugglers will rise to the challenge no doubt.

Edit . Was meant to come across less ranting And I realise it's meant to show Daniel Farke to be entirely right etc just seems a bit unfair.

I've insisted all along, we are vulnerable in the wing-back positions.

Schmidt hardly featured in the championship & shouldn't be anywhere near our PL squad, leaving Byram as our only cover.

It was obvious last season that Farke didn't trust him defensively. Other than the FA Cup, he only ever brought him on as a sub in midfield or on the wing.

Did we not try to flog him to Leicester in a January window?

I seem to remember a fee was agreed and he was doing his medical and then that halfwit Radz changed his mind and we kept him.

As someone else said, not his fault that Leeds were stupid enough to give him, and others, long contracts.

I judge players purely on them producing on the pitch.

If we can palm him off on one of our competitors for survival that will be great business for us. I think he'd be better going back to MLS and taking that useless specimen Bamford with him.

Last preseason he had Ampadu filling in at RB. Not sure why he isn't doing that this preseason. If Schmidt isn't going to part of the squad, why isn't he experimenting with something that might be useful in the regular season?

Blimey! You spent much of last season slagging off Aaronson, who did a decent job for us, imo! Now you are defending a player who is clearly not good enough to play in the Premier League, including for the three promoted teams.
