Funny. When it happened, I thought Joseph was getting pulled back and that it would have been a penalty. Obviously from the replay that wasn't the case.whiteinfrance wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 9:17 pm Nobody mentioned Joseph had a handful of the defender's shirt
Would have been disallowed with VAR

I was surprised that Aaronson started to be honest. He went 90 min for USA against Mexico in Guadalajara. A match that kicked off early morning Wednesday UK time. Then had to travel. I have no idea when he turned up at Thorpe Arch for training. But with everyone healthy now I hope he gets some rest next week.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 9:08 pm Seriously. He worked hard Aaronson.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 9:08 pm Seriously. Firpo and Tanaka were excellent. Aaronson had a good game even though he still panics in front of goal,
But was bullied off the ball a few times, bad touches, and awful end product.
He has been poor for a long time now imo, a player in his role is meant to be the X factor.
He falls a mile short.

SU are the best other team in the league IMHO.
Hamer - don't know if he could have been poached - Rak-Sayki and Calum O'Hare opted to join them or over Leeds.
Tanaka and Ampedu? Yes please.
Leeds should take no prisoners now, we deserved the 3 points against Burnley and an aberration denied that.
Autos now, no excuses.

So was I. We've seen Piroe play the 10 plenty. Even if most of us don't favour it, Farke seems to like it (justifiably given the 2nd goal)BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 9:38 pm I was surprised that Aaronson started to be honest. He's really starting to show some quality - although our superiority and formation mask his weaknesses as a defender.
I think it's interesting that Dominican have played him at 9 and 10

Respect to Wilder for a change, very honest interview, couldn’t have praised us more.

Don't say that!!!YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 9:03 pm Really good performance, not always the case after the break. That's two good performances against top teams in a row.
Bit of an easier run coming up now.

Various reactions here.
Weren't impressed with Wilder being so fearful, dropping Rak-Sakyi seemingly to go more defensive.

He's been immense.
Even defended well on occasion.
Think has to be remembered he was never a great defender, he was a wing back in a back 3.
Keep him going forward and he's happiest.

They are what they are, nothing special but do seem able to pick up results without necessarily deserving them. For me they are still the biggest threat to us winning the division- which on its own shows that we should win the title without too much of a problem barring our own inability to win matches when we should. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 9:00 pm Tanaka absolutely brilliant second half .... baffled by SU unless they're about to head back into the pack, nothing about them suggests playoff team
