It is nowhere near.
Archie was sold to cover the year before, besides the wage bill we were carrying 90 million of debt, a large proportion in staged payments for the underwhelming quality we bought in the prem in the second season.
Then there is the championship wages issue.
this suggestion we have 30+ million spare is not essentially true we potentially have the spending ability with Amortisation.

Despite all the stuff mentioned on here about us having money to spend NO ONE KNOWS THE WHOLE TRUTH, fans are just saying what they want it to be regardless of the actual truth. It suits their agenda so they run with that.

Arsenal brought on £300 million worth of subs, plus Madueke £56m came in for Saka who was injured in the warm-up.

City absolutely embarrased us but then took their foot off the gas because they got complacent as it was so easy. Gifted us a goal and then got nervy. Liverpool embarrassed us at ER. Fair enough they didn't create much, ala Arsenal, but had taken their chances and were 2-0 up and cruising. Looking more like finishing 3 or 4-0 than us getting back into it. Then they concede a really soft penalty and got nervy.
Complacency and soft goals was the difference rather than us specifically doing something (despite what many believe after the formation change).
Man U game a bit different as they are inconsistent, have quality but also have a few players that wouldn't even get on the bench at City, Arsenal or Liverpool.
